We had an awesome experience at The Barn from start to finish. Arrived around 5:30 for some pre-dinner cocktails (Fernando and It’s Warm Somewhere)… both delicious and made with serious care by the bartender. Followed by a bottle of Aligote which was perfect.

The Barn is a cozy dining experience that has the same amazing food and service as their main dining space. They have changed a few things since our last visit…one being the kitchen head order executor ….so that’s a bit loud and crazy hearing her yell order’s to the kitchen all night….not sure that was a great change to the process. Everything else was outstanding as always

This Michelin starred restaurant is worth all the hype. Ideal for a special occasion dinner or a leisurely eating experience. Service was courteous and efficient. The atmosphere was quaint, cozy and romantic. The cocktails were soooo delicious. Food was amazing. The Bone Marrow Luge… I could have eaten 10 of those! And the Steak Frites was cooked to perfection. Would skip the Mushroom Pasta next time. But that average dish was easily forgotten when I bit into the Peach and Plum Pavlova. LOVED IT!!

We had brunch for 4 and found the service to be poor and the staff were not very accessible or helpful. It took at least to 30 minutes just to get our drinks. My salad with scallops was good . But we had to ask for water, forks and they absolutely wouldn’t substitute vanilla ice cream in place of another flavor with dessert. Their attitudes were dismissive and we were told to leave because they wanted to close. Just felt very pretentious and not a satisfactory experience.

The restaurant is beautiful! The bald bartender is magnificent, the ambiance, however, needed work. The multi colored hair woman who presented to guests as “the owner Roxanne” appeared to have some screws loose and appeared to be heavily intoxicated during her shift. She is extremely rude and dismissive. As I attempted to enjoy my meal I couldn’t help but over hear the yelling that came across the other side of the room. It was “the owner” yelling and her employees. The tone presented as condescending and we could the feel the frustration through the employees eyes. It’s such a pity to see. The Food was great though so there’s that.. I hope to see improvements in this restaurant for the sake of the staff and returning guests but I doubt I’ll be one of them.

Reserved a table for 3 for dinner “inside.” The hostess wouldn’t seat us until our 3rd guest arrived and said we could wait outside in the 90 degree temperature until her arrival and sit on a bench. After we complained about the heat, she said we could go inside and sit at the bar. The inside part was 100% empty. We decided to sit at a table and wait for our friend. The hostess came in and said we weren’t allowed to sit at a table. We requested the manager come in so we could speak to her. She came inside and told us to leave!!! She kicked us out! Needless to say, that is an unheard of experience from a psychotic manager. Unfortunately, Richard Gere doesn’t seem to care how his name is represented to the public. The manager is a disgrace!! I later heard many stories about how horrible the manager is!!!

Dinned at The Barn today for brunch. It was adequate and should have been better. Setting aside the mediocre food, the lackluster service (e.g., our appetizer dish had not been cleared when our entrees were served), that 30 minutes after being seated the hostess called to see if we were going to make our reservation (the one we checked in with), the one thing that really stuck with us was the ridiculous menus.
