Hops n drops gig harbor is a fantastic location. Been to a few around the south sound. Food and service are fantastic. Atmosphere is very relaxed. Would recommend.

Wow, how enlightening to find a privately held restaurant bucking the norm and in my opinion – doing everything right!

We had to find a place in Gig harbor that allows dogs. We found Hops and drops and we’re pleasantly surprised. We had a special order and the kitchen manager Kevin took the time to explain how we could ask for our special order. Their potato chips are amazing.

A warm and inviting eatery. I really enjoyed the tasty foods and relaxing atmosphere. The portions are more than enough too. They also serve takeout with a smile.

We went in for a late lunch/early dinner around 4pm today. We ordered a peach bourbon iced tea drink, chicken sandwich and a burger and a starter of chips and salsa. Starter came out right away which was awesome and the food wasn’t far behind. Server was very friendly, checked out IDs (we were in the bar area) and got our order right away. Food was delicious and the server along with the manager checked on us through out our meal. She easily anticipated needing a to go box and when to bring the check. I didn’t catch her name but she was a brunette with her hair in a bun, she definitely deserves to be recognized. Great service, I wish all our servers were like that when we went out. Great service and an easy meal after a day out at the Renaissance faire.

Started out fine, right up to when a waitress following rules about no personal water cups allowed. Could have easily brought me a water before twice demanding I can’t drink mine. So many rule breakers everywhere, funny I get hassled for my water. Guess I am the bad bad man. LOL, FOOD WASN’T THAT GOOD, not going back!

The cheer of the staff was unmatched. They seemed unreasonably happy to serve our food and take our order. Happy hour menu was decently priced and the food was pretty good.

Walking in the door we were greeted with a smile and got a table quick. Their local HopnDrops beers are good and recommend trying them. Food tasted good and like that they have happy hour everyday not just week days. I would give 5 starts but our food came out warm (like it sat 5min too long waiting) and the lights above our table were flickering. Overall nice spot and we’ll be back.

The food was pretty good. I got a jalapeno burger and fries, nice and spicy! Our server was Bobby. He was great: helpful, kind, fun, chill. Kudos to Bobby! Not much in the way of vegetarian or vegan choices that I saw. The atmosphere was ok, neither offensive nor awesome. There were plenty of TVs but not so many that it hurt.
