We had a to go dinner for the first time tonight, and it was delicious!!! I highly recommend the meatloaf, twice baked potato casserole and the pear salad!!! I love that Vaughan & Co. has such a broad menu to pick up a hot meal as well as refrigerated meals! The ladies are always so friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely keep ordering meals from them!!

I can not say enough great things about how wonderful this place is. The food is very healthy and extremely fresh (you can ask for no sauce, butter, etc.) and the portions are large. The staff is top notch, super friendly and the food is beyond delicious. What a gem to have in our area. THANK YOU!

Healthy and fresh meals are on the menu. A delivered hot meal of chicken tetrazzini, colorful fresh vegetables with 1/4 lemon (carrots, yellow squash and broccoli) and yeast rolls. Our introduction to V and C was 5+ stars.

We blundered into this wonderful place. The hours on the door said it was closed (it was Sunday). So I was hurriedly scanning TripAdvisor for good places to eat in Mountain Brook. Then the door opened, and there smiled Vaughan McGehee. Only after my wife and I had eaten did we realize what a divine experience this was. This girl knows how to cook! Lordy! We were visiting from Lake Geneva, WI, simply to extend our summer a bit. Vaughan said she’d be glad to serve us, even though her place was closed. Now we have to figure out how to replicate her dishes when we get home. Thank you sooo much, Vaughan! Bless you and your wonderful place! You are pure gold to your community!

Confusing menu. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Prices online have doubled per the menu that is on their website. Got a text message receipt that isn’t itemized which is extremely unhelpful and pointless. Just go out for a nice dinner for what this place charges for food.
