Visited from San Antonio TX and we planned to come here from Norma Gelis YouTube video. Let me just say they had the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had! Also ordered Carlitos fries and chilequiles. Big portions and lots of flavor. Definitely recommend.

Nice old timey digs and they have a place in Santa Fe casino…But we sat there and waited and no service…Finally busser came up and said order up at counter…Really? Tables everywhere like a restaurant not fast food setting…Well, she was kind to take our order at the table but it was like ten bucks too much and we finally worked it out for less…Food OK but in paper containers…plus overall I was totally unimpressed with the overall operation for what we paid…Visit once, get a bit ripped off and an uncomfortable experience and we are gone for good…Sadly this is an ongoing situation in our LOCAL eateries…Sad…

We literally saw this place in the Vegas Arts District on Triple D just a few days before flying in. We stopped in for lunch and were fortunate to get a table for lunch. The Chilangos were featured on the show and looked mount-watering, so we had to try them. Staring with the street corn and guacamole app, they were tasty and fresh. Nice, thick tortilla chips to dip was a plus. The Chilangos/Beef Birria Tacos looked exactly as they did on the show. The tortilla fried to perfection and loaded with tender, juicy beef. The surprise though was that the beef lacked much flavor, almost like some spices were missing. My wife agreed. Same with the sauce for dipping. The rice is fluffy and perfect. I’d still recommend trying it out and supporting this local landmark. The service the vibe were great. All the best!

Had the Chilangos. The were pretty. Rice was a little over cooked for my liking. This place was on DDD so check out that episode before you go. My favorite was actually the salsa that we got with the chips.

I went there for Happy Hour but didn’t get no happy. Disappointed they mention cocktails but only 3 are happy hour. Margaritas only the regular is on special. I feel like their happy hour is just to get people in the door. I feel like if the restaurant is going to be doing happy hour do it right or cut the hours. Don’t subpar it and the food was too salty.
