My second experience at Austin’s on 98 was just as good as the first one a year ago. While the place feels like more of a bar than a restaurant with live music and boisterous conversation, the food is top notch, and the service is very good. We had seafood at two other well-known seafood restaurants this week, and Austin’s blew them away in both price and quality. Highly recommend!!!

Been coming to Miramar Beach for a couple years now and finally got around to trying Austons on 98. Was blown away at all the TVs, definitely the place to watch all games. But we were there to eat dinner and it did not disappoint. The servers worked together to make sure we were greeted on time, seated and had a drink order in quickly. We had the fried pickles (really good), seafood trio platter, the GOAT chicken sandwich and the kids had a burger and chicken fingers. Everything was really good. Side note, their honey mustard dipping sauce tastes almost exactly like Long Horns which is to me the all-time best honey mustard so that alone will bring me back! But seriously, we enjoyed it and will make this a staple in the dinner rotation when we’re back down here in a couple months.

This place has some of the best staff I have ever had the pleasure to interact with. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was very good and the blackened shrimp were incredibly fresh and delicious! I love the jalapeño cheddar hush puppies as well. This place is a bit out of the way but well worth a detour.

Very packed. For some reason we had two servers who weren’t working together so things were missed, like silverware. But the food was good, there was live music. We didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. It was overall a good place to eat.

Austons was great! We popped in for a quick bite around 2 pm. The service was very efficient, the staff was very friendly and the menu had a wide variety! We sat on the patio and it was very nice on a gorgeous sunny day. We just grabbed a quick salad and shrimp cocktail to split that was very tasty and looked beautiful. The shrimp were huge and tasted very fresh! This seems like a great place to come watch sports or have a family friendly meal that has something that will appease every one!

My first trip to Auston’s on 98. I don’t live far from it so not sure why I had not visited earlier. It is right beside a large Winn-Dixie on Poinciana. It is not visible from Highway 98 despite the name of the restaurant. Not a big deal but if you are looking for it on the main highway, you won’t find it.

This place was very good! I was on the fence about eating here BUT so glad we did! The scallops were delicious, everyone loved their oysters, and clam chowder was perfect! The two guys singing and playing guitar were pretty darn good, as well!

My dish shrimp and grits was delicious but the rest of the groups food was okay. Had to sit outside because the live music was too loud for us, but I saw several people that enjoyed it. Though they did not have young children in their groups.
