My fiance and I were looking for a dinner after spending the afternoon walking on the beach at Hammonasset. We chose Land of Thai because we love Thai food, and thought that it would be good to get a little bit away from all of the hustle and bustle. The food was beautifully presented and was delicious. She had the massaman curry with chicken, and I wanted something light, so I got the house salad with chicken satay. They were both excellent. The restaurant is kind of small, but clean and smartly decorated.

We highly recommend! We brought a 3 year old and the server was so kind, friendly and accommodating. We had a gluten free pad Thai dish. We also had yummy drunken noodles with a little kick. Everything came out so quickly and we are very happy. The environment is clean, homey and pleasant.

Twice the food has been rather bland with slightly overcooked chicken. You probably wouldn’t guess this was Thai food since it lacks the spices and flavor of good Thai food. Based on what you get, it seems overpriced. It’s ready so quickly that it seems like it’s pre-made and assembled upon ordering. Disappointed.
