Worst service ever! We had my brothers wedding reception dinner here in the private room & the servers are so slow and couldn’t get things right. They were more focused on one side of the table and ignored my family side (groom side) of the table at the far end which is ridiculous and we ordered the most expensive bottles as well & they couldn’t even get our alcohol bill right. My kids kept asking why were they skipping over us even though we had our card on green. When they did decided to come by, we were left with the nasty ends of the meat that looked burnt and dried. Tried waving them down a few times and got ignored. We had no grilled shrimp or wings which is what my kids wanted mainly since they can’t eat too much red meat! No side dishes for us either. You’re better off spending your money at Chama Gaúcha for their excellent service and quality meats. Don’t recommend! It

My favorite restaurant of all time is Gauchos do Soul. I discovered it long ago and have had many family celebrations there. The original started in Vintage, and when I tried it the first time, I knew this would be a huge success. This time we visited Gauchos in the Katy area; as always, I was not disappointed. We were promptly seated, and my wife, daughter, and I were treated like royalty. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but you get what you paid for and will not regret it. I wish there were Gauchos in Abilene!

My favorite place! The service is the absolute best! They treat you like royalty. Free dessert if you are celebrating an event. Our first time, we ordered a bottle of wine and they were out and we were upgraded. Food is excellent, but service is top notch. Cocktails are on point too. Check them out.

Luis is doing a phenomenal job running this establishment. From the moment we walked in up until the moment we left we received excellent 5 star service. I want to catch the gentleman’s name to update this review with it as well he was an excellent waiter, very attentive and personable. I will definitely be back and recommend all of my friends, family, coworkers, and anyone reading this review to come here and enjoy some delicious food coupled with stellar service to match it!

Excellent Brazilian BBQ. Also loved the salad options and dessert. Only minor issues are the bar could be better stocked with Bourbon and it seems to be a bit too dimly lit. Otherwise it was great and I would definitely recommend it.

Very friendly staff and food was better than FDC, even offering shrimp/salmon inclusive options. Meats were favored and cooked to perfection. They would even take request for specific meats and cook to our requested medium/rare if they didn’t have it in the current rounds. We were there for our anniversary and they prepared a special desert plate on the house. Very happy and will be returning. I’d go back just for their grilled pineapple!!

I had a great time celebrating my birthday with friends. Atmosphere and ambiance were great, salad bar was fresh and delicious. Drinks were so good, I had this lemon bubbly drink and a sangria…the sangria was sooooo good. The waiters were friendly once they came to the table but we literally had to flag them down, for drinks and the meat service. Our cards sat there on green for almost an hour. It was insane how many times our table was skipped and we were directly in front of the salad bar. I had eaten almost my whole plate from the salad bar before I even got to try any meat. None of the meat choices had much flavor. Again when the servers got to the table they were very friendly and helpful. The staff was helpful in the front also, they were very kind and offered to take pictures for us. Overall I had a great time and do feel that they can do better. I will give them another shot, however next time I’ll asked to be seated elsewhere.

Highly NOT recommended!! First impression of the place was when we pulled into the parking lot. For whatever reason, they decided that it would be a great idea to monopolize all the close parking spots for valet parking and force those who don’t mind walking to park in the rear of the restaurant leaving your vehicle vulnerable to damage and/or theft. Not to mention that the sidewalk on the way in has broken glass and busted up cinder blocks. After being seated, the waiter thought it would be a good idea to argue with my wife (never a good idea) about whether not she wanted salad or meat. All went ok with the dining part after that until the end. For 5 of us @ $70 per plate, they took it upon themselves to add a 20% tip. We didn’t get the opportunity to tip them based on their performance, which wasn’t bad. I hate the fact that they take your ability to judge and tip them for yourself. Upon further checking after I left, Gauchos has taken the position of trying to ensure minimum pay for all of its staff. So, instead of them having to provide good service for good pay, all they have to do is be there and you get to pay 20% no matter how bad the service might be. Sorry, but I will take my business elsewhere, since Gauchos cares more about equal distribution of pay and monopolizing parking spots for their valet.

This place had THE best service ever. Always refilling your drink as soon as it goes down, taking your plate as soon as you finish, I got up to go to the bathroom and they folded my napkin for me. The food was delicious, I absolutely recommend the pineapple and the lobster bisque. Their shrimp for the shrimp cocktail in the salad bar were absolutely huge as well. I had to take two bites for one shrimp, thats crazy. They have skewered chicken, parmesean chicken, ribeye, top sirloin, bottom sirloin, lamb, lamb chops, salmon, shrimp, pineapple, gouda with honey and so much more just going around to table to table. This birthday experience was definitely worth the price. Total for 2 people for all you can eat of top notch food was $148. It’s pricey but well worth it to treat yourself on a special occasion.
