I really wanted to like this place. I was excited when I saw Cajun Creole. I ordered three dishes calamari good but not very crisp it was ok. Gumbo very disappointed with this dish. The gumbo was not made with a roux lacked flavor there was no shrimp or crab in the broth and the rice in the gumbo was undercooked. The worst part was the beignets were undercooked and the dough was too thick. The place is nice. Nice atmosphere. It also has a bowling alley. The service was really good to. This could be a great restaurant if they hire a real chef that knows how to make real Cajun style good.

The Shrimp & Grits was definitely exceptional and would get again! The shrimp were perfectly cooked, the sauce amazing and had nice heat, and the portion on point. The spicy tequila cocktail was also a win and had a fun presentation with the black salt rim. Fun night out for dear friend’s bday dinner

I was here first time for solo brunch and it didn’t disappoint. The food was very delicious I felt like ordering another plate. A nice place for a group brunch… they have a mini bowling alley inside I recommend it.

This was my first time at Wilma’s. Great ambiance for any occasion. The service was excellent. We got the shrimp and grits with a couple drinks. They have a mini miniature bowling making it great for a date night. Will definitely go back.

First time at Wilma’s – cool restaurant, pretty on the inside. The crab au gratin was great! The gumbo was not so great. Friendly service.

First time in Delaware, I saw this restaurant on social media. It gave New Orleans vibes without having to travel. Dinner was delicious. The 4 of us adults ate appetizers, main entrees and several drinks for about $200 we would definitely come back! Thank you

Portion sizes are a little small and service is a bit nonexistent but the food, ambiance, and drinks taste delicious. We were a bit disappointed by the beignets as they are not typical beignets just fried pastry dough with powdered sugar.

Wilma’s has done an absolutely wonderful job of resurrecting this once proud 100 year old building. Their predecessor allowed the building to get a little run down before giving up the ghost, but for sure 900 N Market is back as an interesting and remarkable destination. Also, whoever came up with the concept of bowling for this place is a genius, and I say that as someone who doesn’t bowl. The concept, design, and execution of this place is nothing short of a home run, and this is a welcome addition to the city.

I ordered the frozen cocktail. Delicious!! The nachos were filling. The shrimp n grits savory. Both were a lil too salty. Beignets were yummy. Just wish they came with chocolate!!

So cool spot my daughter and I stumbled on to. Bartender did all the table service and she did a good job. We ordered ribs and fries and Wilma’s Mac and cheese. The ribs were delicious. The “Mac and cheese” was more of pasta dish than Mac and cheese. It was good just looked different than the previous posted pictures and seemed misleading in name. I also ordered a dirty Martini. I was ok just too dirty and a little weak. My daughter was super excited about them having bowling in the restaurant but it was $30 for an hour and I wasn’t spending that for a quick lunch. I would actually recommend it for a date super cool vibes.
