When I bite into the chicken from 5 Brothers it tastes exactly like Kansas. I love NY but amazing fried chicken and classic comfort food sides are not easy to find. I’m working my way through all the sides on the menu. The chicken and waffles are amazing. The chicken has a little bit of sweetness in the batter which pairs well with the vinegar based hot sauce they serve on the side and with the waffles. Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and curly fries are all great. This time I ordered the sweet corn nuggets and they were delicious.

We were looking for a fried chicken place and this place was great! It was our first time and we just wanted fried chicken but they have a huge menu with other items. We got chicken, waffles, curly fries, and salad. We didn’t expect much of the waffle but it was the best waffle we ever purchased! The batter is definitely home made and was light, fluffy and had hints of vanilla. The chicken was amazing! Super crispy, moist, and very well seasoned. It’s our new favorite. It came with this red sauce that was hot and sweet but not too spicy. The whole meal was delicious and we will be back to try more!

Moved out here from the city six months ago and just tried this place for the first time – I’m upset I haven’t been here sooner. Easily the best take out food in Medford and some of the best overall food I’ve had in Suffolk county. The chicken was hot, fresh, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and all around delicious. They also made my french fries to order. Skip KFC across the street and give 5 Brothers a try.

The best chicken tenders and waffle I’ve ever had. The chicken was huge and as fresh as can be. This is what fried chicken SHOULD taste like! Staff was friendly and was impressed with how efficiently it was run. Nice selection of sides, desserts and deli style drinks also. This place is a must try! Their breakfast menu and catering look great too. Hope they open more locations!

This is really just a pick-up and go spot, but the waffles are delicious, and the fried chicken is good too. I’m not a waffle guy, but I would return for these waffles. I can’t rate atmosphere, as I didn’t go in, my wife did. Food was a 5. She said they were nice inside, so I gave them a 4 for service. Try them out!

There’s no parking when you get to the restaurant. When you back out, you have to be careful because your almost in the road. The employees are all very nice and respectful.

I just wanted to say i was super surprised with this restaurant. Usually chicken and waffles arent my thing. 5 brothers changed that completely. First of all, the chicken was INCREDIBLE!!! I loved the frying sound when it was being cooked. The waffle was sooo good, it tasted like a funnel cake which made me so happy. The banana pudding was AMAZING! Also, the fruit punch tasted homemade and amazing as well. 10/10. 5 stars. The staff was extremely nice and pleasant and helpful as well!

I love five brothers, I have been going here literally for years. The chicken is fantastic, and the sides are always good. My only complaint, I recently sent my fiance and he picked up a banana pudding with our order. Unfortunately it was literally just vanilla pudding and some vanilla wafers in a takeout container.

Best waffles in town, hands down.Any time your in the area you have to spot inside 5 brothers Fried Chicken & Waffles.This place is becoming a long island landmark!The Fish is flawless, and the waffles are one of a kind. Waffles are a must order here. Everything on the menu is perfect, just not the mac and cheese. The chicken and waffles is definitely the crème de la crème of New York.
