This place is great! Had a cherry and raspberry sorbet smoothie, and it was nice tangy and smooth. Interior is gorgeous, they even have games at every table to enjoy your food and time with a friend or stranger. They deserve much more business.

This is a super cool much needed place in the community!! All natural and fresh sorbets and smoothies all real and delicious ingredients. The owner was so nice and personable and explained all the menu items . This spot is a must try!!! The seating area has checker boards on each table, along with card games like UNO , some tables have swings for seating, he has shelves with board games to play and books to read and a Huge tv ! I loved it, made me feel nostalgic with all the old school games to play . He will soon host open mic poetry and comedy nights and will even offer a back patio, there is also alcohol on the menu and food . I can’t wait to go back for a date night . I had a mango/peach sorbet it was delicious and had small chunks of fruit . He does need a neon sign cause if you drive past you will miss it , but I’m sure it’s coming, it’s nestled in between the barbershop and Chinese restaurant. A hidden Gem

Recommended by a friend to go here. I got an apple, cherry and pineapple smoothie with coconut milk and it did not disappoint. The owner is very personable. Looking forward to what’s to come as he mentioned the upcoming jazz nights on Friday and Sat and the expanding food menu.

Just left and this place is AH-MAZING!!! I ordered Chuccs Smoothie and the Cucumber Pita. The vibe above will get you to stay a while. The owner Jay is very inviting and makes you feel like family. I will definitely frequent this establishment!

First timer…ordered 2 smoothies (Super Woman and another) which were very tasty. Owner Jay was very friendly and welcoming. I give this place 4 stars ONLY because I wish they would open a little bit earlier (9:30 AM) for the early bird Transportation Dept folks like myself as well as our South Gwinnett Bus Drivers. I would love to enjoy a smoothie for breakfast instead of having to wait until lunch time. Overall, The Awkward Cup is a very cozy little place.
