Food was great and the place isn’t to bad at all. It’s a bar but they have some really good food and a good variety. A little bit on the pricy side but overall worth the experience.

Great place, glad we found it, nice area near towpath and the train ran right behind it. Friendly staff, delicious BBQ, house made meatballs and wonderful Greens….we will return!

I visited the Rail and Canal only once since its transformation, but I used to frequent the establishment every Saturday night back when it operated as the restaurant/bar El Chico’s. While I don’t have any complaints about the current setup, I have a strong preference for and nostalgia towards the beautiful wraparound bar that El Chico’s had. Presently, it’s a more standard left-to-right bar layout.

The Chicken wings were delicious, Philly cheese steak was dry and could have used some marinara sauce. They need to clean their salt, pepper and condiments, greasy. The Ladies room was clean and that’s a great plus.

The inside decor was rustic and gave you a clean feel. The place was warm inside, I hope they have A/C because it was getting uncomfortable. The food, pizza sauce is very bland although the crust was great. Meatballs were also bland and dry. The fried pickles (frozen) we’re good and they have a house made dipping sauce that was very flavorful. The service was excellent.

Wing Night was great. Can’t beat .50 wings. Good size wings. Our server was attentive. It was a bit warm in the dining room.

I ordered mixed drinks and they had no liquor. Beer out of tap was room temperature. But the music was awesome. Acoustic Moose

Food was good, great portions, water and unsweetened tea tasted odd, service was excellent. Smelled pretty strongly of cigarette smoke, however, I’m not totally sure if it was from the building or others around us.

A delightful surprise! Found this place through Google and went just because we’d never heard of it and my fiancé and I wanted to grab dinner before a movie at Rome Cinemas. As we pulled in the parking lot, I was feeling a bit skeptical as it looked like a dive bar from the outside. We went in and grabbed a table- they have a separate dining room as well as a few tables in the bar area.

Great experience, great service and atmosphere, food we ordered was amazing! Only thing I would have changed, a softer bread for the sandwiches
