This was my first time at this restaurant. It was good. I came as a deliverer to pick up food… There was a moment of miscommunication of the order. However, the staff stepped up and made it right to me and the customer. The staff here had great communication skills and we figured out a game plan. Once the food was remade, I was able to deliver the food.

I got the 36a. Bún Đặc Biệt combination noodle bowl. Omg, the best I have ever had. The pork, shrimp & fish sauce were perfectly marinated. The egg rolls were exquisite! I can’t wait to come back to try the Mì Xào 51. Tôm Shrimp. This place is a must try!

Noticed this restaurant since Pacific Ocean Marketplace opened more than 10 years ago when it was called Kim Ba, but for some reason, have not eaten here until recently. Comparing to many Vietnamese restaurants offering primarily pho and rice plates, was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of other Vietnamese staples normally only expected to find on South Federal. Ordered the combo noodle bowl (bun with grilled chicken, pork, shrimp and egg rolls) and combination pho with rare steak, brisket, flank, tendon, and tripe. Both were above par comparing to other Vietnamese restaurants in town.

LITERALLY SOOOO FREAKING GOOD got the fried soft shell crab app, the beef noodle bowl & also the beef lo mein. The fried crab was so perfectly battered & crispy..still super juicy inside. The veggies were super fresh & delicious. Not to mention the service was amazing & it’s such a nice quiet little place!

3/3/22-This place may be on the pricer side, but this is the first time in a long time where I ate somewhere new and the quality of the food actually matches the price. I had the combo, 36a, and the best part was both the egg rolls and the shrimp. I also tried some of my mom’s tofu and it was even good. I was also expecting them to be slow during the lunch rush, but I was surprised at how quickly I got our food. I know I’ll be going back to this place to try other things on their menu.

My wife and I love this restaurant. The service is great, and they have a wide variety of food. The restaurant is very clean and spacious, something we weren’t really expecting. We’ve been here three times, and every time we’ve ordered (and enjoyed!) the clams. They’re simply a must try. Truly a hidden gem of a restaurant!

This location used to be a vietnamese restaurant that went by a different name. They were purchase and renovated into Saigon bistro sometime back. The food is still amazing, but the prices were substantially increased. Many of the same exact dishes were on the new menu but costing 30-50% more than they did prior. When compared to the numbered pho locations, like pho 99, prices are almost DOUBLED for many of the same items. The food is quite good, but when a 2 person order runs $75-80 pre tax/tip while running $45-50 at other vietnamese spots in the area, it’s hard to recommend to others.

Great place. Really enjoyed the menu, fun just to peruse. Ordered soft shell crab and crab wontons for appetizer along with Thai iced tea with coffee jelly and Vietnamese coffee. Two pho and combo rice wraps were the mains. Very generous with portions and garnishes. Staff was very helpful with instructions and questions. Really enjoyed the shrimp paste fried in rice wrappers. Veggies were crunchy and fresh. Will go again.
