We were here on a Saturday and it was very busy! They informed us before seating us that it would be a 45 minute wait for food, which was very kind to inform us ahead of time. Although we did end up waiting awhile, the food was worth it and the staff was sure to check in frequently.

Had a goat cheese, green onion, and sweet potato omelet with Cajun potatoes and English muffin toast. Everything was delicious! I like that they use seasonal and local ingredients when they can, too. Looking forward to trying other options on the menu in the future, as well as trying more of the bakery selection.

Talk about a niche little town breakfast nook, warm ambiance, and friendly staff. Food is amazing, biscuits and gravy is what I had this week, last week had the sausage and pepper quiche! Menu switches, but keeps your palette diverse, prices are extremely reasonable! Highly recommend

I went in there to grab some cinnamon rolls on a Saturday morning. The bakery has a cool urban vibe with tall loft style ceilings. The girls working behind the counter were nice and courteous. The cinnamon rolls were served warm with a respectable amount of icing. The cinnamon rolls weren’t huge, but for the price it was worth it. I’d definitely go back but they’re hours or so limited, it makes it hard to be a regular customer. Hopefully with time they expand their limited menu and hours.

I ordered 3 types of quiche and 5 types of bread for a baby shower. Everything was delicious. My guests shared it was the best quiche they have had and I agree! Breads were moist and full of flavor.

UPDATE: Risen is now open for breakfast! I added updated photos. Risen is owned by a wonderful couple! Dan and Rachel are committed to giving their community a place to gather with exceptional farm to table local ingredients and a warm experience! They’re not open yet, but hope to be open by December 2021. Definitely a local gem!

This was our first opportunity to stop in and try this out for ourselves. The coffee was good, the muffins were thick and dense and very tasty. Dan and his team we’re engaging and friendly and pleased that we had taken time to stop in and give them a try. Got there right at opening, 8:00am. The servers and owner were very nice and attentive, offering refills whenever our cups were half full. The owner provided us with a free donut because of our wait. Customer service gets 5 stars. However, we never got our food. We decided to leave at 9:30 after no sign of food headed our way and other tables who arrived after us getting their food before us (mind you, we had a table of two). Some planning and time management is still needed for this place to be successful and turn over tables quicker. Not everyone has time to wait two hours for food. Still holding out hope for this place but will not be back until the turnaround time is quicker.
