Another delicious place I got to try on the Mission food tour. Honestly would have never tried this place by the looks of it. But it was delicious. First time for me to try beef tongue (our guide highly recommended it) and it did not disappoint. Very smooth texture and super tasty. My friend’s chicken taco was also very flavorful and moist. The vegan taco was the only thing that looked a bit anemic and with a tiny slice of avocado. Still giving it 5 stars because of the friendly service

went back in january while visiting and absolutely loved it! it’s very authentic and you can tell they put money towards their business; the staff is very friendly and service was fast. as a hispanic, i had to get tacos, i couldn’t resist. i got regular tacos de birria; it comes with rice and beans of your choice. this is definitely one of the best tacos i’ve had, will be coming back for more, muchas gracias

This place was hopping 40 years ago. Now there’s hardly anyone, they charged for chips without asking if we wanted them, they charged $11 for Modelo negro. I came because it used to be the bomb, now it’s just mediocre, they’re trying to squeeze their customers for as much as possible.
