After glancing at the menu, the prices and dishes had us thinking fine dining. However, when we first stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a noisy bar scene, complete with TVs all around. We were taken to the “dining” area, which more quiet, but the decor was a bit mismatched and odd. We sat down, and immediately we noticed my napkin had a dead bug on it, and our plates were greasy-they were replaced. My boyfriend had the walleye dish. The fish was a bit bland and greasy, and vegetables overcooked. My fish was the burramundi–a little on the drier side but good with the encrusted almonds. The most delicious thing we ate was the perfect sweet potato pancake that accompanied my fish. The service was excellent. Our server replaced our dirty plates and napkins immediately, recommended a great wine, and was overall knowledgeable and friendly.

Very, very lackluster filets for dinner. Our dog, who is not picky at all about the quality of her steak, enjoyed most of them. We had one drink, one salad, a cup of soup, and two filet entrees (one 6 oz, one 9 oz) between us for about $95. Twice incorrect items were delivered to the table. Overall it was a very poor excuse for an anniversary dinner!

I have never written a restaurant review before but the bad experience at Fins prompted me to share with others. The food was absolutely horrible and seem to be warmed up low quality costco products. Very Very low quality. It is one restaurant experience that I felt being taken advantage of. The waitress was completely clueless also. Ruined an otherwise fine evening in Glenwood Springs.

Overpriced crappy food. Mussels were not cooked, tasted like they had gone bad, and the white wine sauce was something likely squeezed out of a tube. Sent them back. Salad was a few pieces of romaine with a gross sauce. Don’t go there.

went to fins twice when we were in Glenwood Springs ordered ribs both times after taking my money they told me they were out of ribs. this is less than 10 minutes after 5 o’clock opening. Very disappointed to go to place 2 times you get the same results.
