Have you ever heard the saying looks can be deceiving? Well, that is true for the food here at Grant’s kitchen. The food looks amazing, but the taste is way off. The half chicken is super dry, which generally signifies being overcooked. The vegetables were bland and had to be salted to taste. Grant’s kitchen was better in the old location. After relocating, the food taste dropped, and we stopped going due to that.

Food was good. I got chicken fried steak. It was just ok. I asked for gravy on the side. They gave it to me in a very tiny cup. I asked for more and i was told it was .50 cents for each small cup. Cups were extremely small. One cup obviously was no where near enough for this steak. I thought that was being a little too much to ask for that. It was like two-3 ketchup packets. Not sure if I will return.

I was craving some southern food for lunch. Grant’s was delicious! The service was very friendly and authentic. I got the fried pork chop, okra, mash potatoes, and corn casserole. I should have gotten some kind of green, but nahhh! I thought everything was seasoned nicely. The okra could have been more fresh, but I did come late for the lunch hour.

Fantastic place! Can’t say enough about it. Food was delicious, well seasoned, and fresh. The fish was fried to perfection and looked so good I started nibbling on it while in line! Service was fast and friendly even though there was no rush. A very relaxed atmosphere and enjoyable.

I took a chance on this place based on proximity. I was looking for something different than fast food or sandwiches. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. I will definitely be eating here again.

Thank you Grant’s Kitchen for your great service and food!!!! This was my first time eating here and so was it for my friends. The restaurant is set up cafeteria style without extra long serving line. The servers received us well, gave us options of what to try and what a made a plate as well what would be extra. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was pleasant and home feeling! All condiments were self serve but our food server directed us to them in advance. Grant’s Kitchen is a must vist and highly recommend !!!!!!!!!

Superb service with a family of 9! Sweet service no loud talking coming from the kitchen. No using off happening while working. Everybody was doing some sort of work. There was no standing around or playing on phones. Really enjoy. The experience. Went two nights in a row this week.
