Just ordered a poke bowl from this place, the price was $17 and it claimed to have avocado. I did not originally find any avocado so I went to the man behind the counter (not the nice lady who had prepared my food) and asked for avocado. He informed me that there is avocado mixed in. There was maybe a flake of avocado in the whole dish. I was very upset with the quantity and quality of the meal for the price. Also you can’t get water without paying for a bottle. Why pay restaurant prices for a food cart experience and a Walmart prepared food quality. We also ordered a beef dish which was okay but in no way made up for the terrible service. Won’t be coming here again but they’ve made it clear that they don’t care. Won’t be surprised when this place is gone by next year.

I couldn’t wait to try The Rice Shop, and I wasn’t disappointed! The food was excellent. I had the Korean Beef and my friend had the Kentucky Fried Fish. The ingredients and flavor were exceptional. Each meal is made to order and comes with a different sauce. The woman who took care of us was patient and explained the different flavors and levels of heat in the dishes. I highly recommend The Rice Shop!

yesterday for lunch i decided to try this restaurant out and boy was i happy that i went. i had got the bbq pork belly and the only complaint i had is that it wasn’t enough rice but not in a bad way, it was just that the rice was so good i wanted more. personally i’m not a rice lover so it must be good. it comes w/ honey mustard kale and sambal sour cream. i honestly really couldn’t taste the honey mustard but the them two sauces mixed together were delicious and it had the nerve to be spicy which is a plus. the pork belly is fried, but i wish they would have a fried version and like a smoked version but i can’t wait to try their other bowls. the kimchi vinaigrette was great too and that comes on the korean beef that i plan on trying next. i recommend everyone to come and try this establishment and the guy who worked yesterday was very friendly and patient w/ my picky eater coworker!

This place is designed well, very quaint and modern yet sophisticated. The food was pretty good, its like a quick service chinese takeout spot. My only grievance is the rice. I wish Jasmine rice was used instead of white rice, it is Asian food after all. I’d revisit.

Stopped in for lunch after shopping at the farmers market and will definitely be coming back! The mochiko chicken was out of this world and the pork belly was melt in your mouth delicious. Service was fast. Cant wait to try some of the other bowls!
