I ordered Cheese Steak Shop this evening on UberEats and could not have been more disappointed. Not only did my order not arrive with a drink that I paid for, the fries were completely cold and hard, and the sandwich was soggy and squished from being wrapped. Also – this is the “large” sub. (Hand shown for comparison) I won’t be eating here again any time soon.

This is a hit or miss place. I love this franchise but the taste differes across locations. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes super bland. At this location, I have to keep reminding them to season the meat as if I forget it turns out bland. Hayward branch is much better at this. I usually get the large chicken Philly with the Philly cheese fries.

I just love these Philly cheese steaks. It may not be healthy, but it’s delicious. My favorite will always be the Hoagie Philly cheese steak, which comes with lettuce and tomato. And the sweet and hot peppers are the perfect sandwich topping.
