If we could give this 6 stars we would. Our dining experience was one of the best in our lives. Truly spectacular. The service was superbly attentive, friendly, and caring. The dishes were genius. The cocktail and wine pairings elevated the experience but the food, service, and environment are what make this one of the best restaurants in the US.

What a whimsical adventure for my mouth. We visited during the Greek period and went in not knowing what to expect. The Lounge was one of the best parts of the night. It felt like a European cocktail lounge from decades past, with unique furniture and scientifically manufactured cocktails to match the Greek theme. Then the food and wine pairing came and it was phenomenal. It was difficult to keep up with the portion sizes, but alas, we prevailed.

If Michelin came to Houston, march would have at least two stars. This is our favorite fine dining restaurant in Houston and we have never had a bad experience. The menu changes seasonally and rotates among various Mediterranean cuisines. The bar program is also top notch.

I wanted to like this place so much, but I feel like it’s just a place people go to so they can say they went. No one wants to leave a bad review for a place that was like $800 per person after the tip, but here I am. The waitress was really great and knowledgeable but the food left much to be desired, and we left hungry. After leaving, the 4 of us went next door to La Grange to eat again because none of us were full from the bubbles and cotton candy at March. Cool ceilings though and it was interesting how they move you from place to place inside the restaurant beforehand. If the portions were like 40% larger it would have been great but it truly is crazy to leave hungry after a $3,000+ dinner for 4 people.

We stopped in for drinks and light bites in the restaurant’s lounge area. If I extrapolate from our exceptional lounge experience to what dining in the main restaurant must be like, diners are in for quite an experience. The lounge decor was sumptuous and lighting was perfect. The cocktails were superb and the appetisers we tried were delicious. The service was a perfect match to the rest of the great experience. I’ll be making it a priority to get a reservation in the main dining room ASAP.
