Really good food, friendly staff, and large servings. We ordered the Barnyard sandwiches and they were delicious. One side of potato salad and one side of baked beans, also delicious! We were the only ones there so service was fast. We paid about $30 for the two lunches with fountain drinks.

Came out with some friends and stopped in for a bite. The waitress said the brisket was good, so I had a sandwich with a side if their homemade beans. Brisket was tender and juicy, dip was flavorful, and the beans were thick and tasty. Washed it down with some ice tea, perfectly strong, and now I’m ready for a nap.

Great smoked meats. I had the brisket on a brioche was smoky and so tender just melted in your mouth. Others with me had pulled pork and bbq chicken. You have your choice of sides. I had the house Cole slaw it was perfect with my brisket.

We were hoping this would be as good as many of the reviews promise it is. Unfortunately, the service and the quality of the food was less than stellar. I rarely leave negative reviews, but we were so disappointed with our experience. The atmosphere is great, that’s the only reason I rated 2 stars rather than 1. Other than that, the service was pretty bad; I’m a server myself and have been for years. You don’t treat customers the way we were treated; we were a party of 2 and there were only 3 other people in the joint, and they appeared to be regulars who were wrapping up. The brisket sandwiches were super fatty and just “meh.” We hope it was just an off day and that the 5-star reviews are more par for the course.
