Excellent steak salad Perfectly cooked steak & very few salad stems , paired well w the strawberry hard cider . Staff was all friendly and very professional/ attentive. Prices very reasonable and relaxed place to sit. One of the nicer casual places I’ve been to lately, definitely recommend.

Very good experience here at half lion . It’s attach to the golf course so of course we got a window seat to see ppl shank balls. The food we got was very good . Would recommend the tacos they were so amazing and the salsa on the side slaps . I got the Brazilian steak salad and it was worth the price perfectly cooked and the chimichuree was perfect . My friend got a burger and that too was cooked perfect and delicious. Had their iPA and it was good would recommend coming here. Also the decor is old timey wood working tools with a saw chandelier which was awesome.

Reasonably priced drinks and solid pub food. We had cherry-lime hard seltzer, a vodka drink made with OJ and their orange-creamsicle hard seltzer, and pretzels. The food was a little greasy, but very hot and tasty. Great place for low key fun in the afternoon. Kid friendly, decent parking.

This was the first time me and my husband went to dine in at this establishment. The food was absolutely devine. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste it in the food. I would really suggest the chili if you are a chili eater….they put cheese , Onions , and sour cream. Staff is friendly and the restaurant was extremely clean. They also played great music. Will definitely go back……

My husband ordered tacos and got nachos. He thought OK I will eat them. The cheese was like poured on top, the chips were soggy and had no flavor. My friend ordered a sandwich and got something totally different. By the middle of the meal we were so upset we paid and left. Don’t give it a chance, there are better places to eat and for less money.

I’ve had over half their food menu at this point and haven’t been disappointed once. So far my top 3 are the crispy chicken sandwich, fish & chips, and the clam chowder! Sometimes ordering pizzas is a hit or miss at other places but I also love their pizzas and found them to be the perfect size meal for myself. I’ve had a number of their cocktails, cider, and seltzers and all have been delicious. Their staff is amazing, talented, and always nice to engage with! Also a nice view of the golf course to people watch, and multiple TVs to watch sports as well.

Service was a little slow but honestly we didn’t mind because we were visiting and enjoying our tasty beer. Really good food once it arrived. Our server and the staff who brought our food kept checking in while we were waiting and we’re very apologetic about the wait. All in all the food and beer was so good that despite the wait we will be back!!!!

Trying to figure out how we have lived in Kent the past 2 years and not stumbled upon this gem. Tonight we had Jordan as our server who was fantastic. He was able to keep up with our odd requests and and was great to chat with. We ordered the fried pickles, wedge salad with steak added and the pb&j burger. The pickles are the same as anywhere else BUT the burger was hands down AMAZING. The dressing they also make ” ipa citrus vinaigrette” was one of the best we have ever tasted. The wedge was huge, steak could be seasoned a little more but salt and pepper at the table did the trick. Ended our meal with the creme brulee cheesecake and it’s a must!
