It’s okay pizza. To be honest, not what I expected. It definitely felt like a pizza place of the late 90s. So my hopes were high. However I found the crust to be not great. Reminded me of frozen pizza that you get for an elementary school lunch. The server was attentive. However the bathrooms had seen better days.

We found this little place after a friend suggested it. The pizza here is AMAZING. When I was a child, pizza places had this distinctive smell that I loved. This place smells just like that when you walk in the door and it brought back a lot of good memories. We got a large pepperoni pizza with pepperoncinis and onions. We wished we couldn’t get full because we couldn’t stop eating it. That pizza had all the best mouth feels. The mozzarella was the old school kind that gets that little oil film on it. The pepperonis were the thin kind that curl up to form an oily little cup that’s crispy on the edges. And a chef’s kiss goes out for the flavor. You owe it to yourself to try this place out if you’re in mayfield and looking for food. Good God…

Went to celebrate a birthday. Turned into a mess. Folks ordered two pizzas about 20-30 min before we arrived. We show up, about 5:30, and buffet is scarce. They put out a few pizzas that we managed to grab a few pieces of… Finish our plates. At this point it’s been over an hour that the pizzas were ordered and we keep getting told that they’re on their way out of the oven. Finally, we are ready to cut cake… But still waiting for pizza. Not one drink refilled until we got our own. Watched many people that came in after us get their food. Sadly the folks paid up front. Next time we’ll go to snappy tomato where they actually have a buffet and cook a pizza in less than an hour and a half. (To Marks wife. I realize you don’t care about our patronage, you said as much, but why not aim for a higher standard. I remember when you guys first came to town and the old man came around talking to everyone and making people feel welcome while keeping the buffet going. He even brought a specialty pizza to our table. He knew how to make guests feel welcome and make a great impression. I feel you two have run it in the ground and we won’t be back. Felt more welcome at Walmart buying a red Baron from the electronic checkout)

Mayfield, KY, has been hit hard due to the December tornado! So many around the country have helped our community since then and continue to do so! So much love, compassion and good Samaritans have shared to keep Mayfield strong! That being said, one pizza place that always brings us joy and never fails to cover our taste buds with deliciousness is Aces!! Our most recent pizza was a large pizza, half pepperoni and half ground beef! The cheese is amazing…just the right amount of sauce and crust will keep you satisfied!! When you are in our area and have a craving for a scrumptious pizza with loads of flavor, have Aces number on your speed dial!!!
