Good South Indian restaurant for someone looking to try out the cuisine. The food was mildly flavoured and the spice level is for suitable for most people.

This is a very casual spot with horrible paint job on the walls. The service is so so and the food overall is average. The Paneer Butter masala was paneer pieces thrown into the typical red sauce which was slightly on the tart side. The masala dosa was good. This is just a local neighborhood place with no ambiance or style or look.

The place is fine. A small eatery without much of ambience there. The servers aren’t quite trained and their English and communication is just passable.

After so long I decided to come back. This time I decided to try paneer dosa. It was delicious and tasty. I decided to dine-in and the service was good. The lady was nice. My favorite Indian restaurant. If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, you can still come, they have vegetarian options too. If you are a vegan. Make sure ask the workers before order.

Horrible taste. I believe the place is famous for biryani as I saw most of them ordering it. We went to try dosa and it tasted horrible. I could not even finish it. Under cooked and laden with so much peanut masala, it was repulsive. the chutney had rotten coconut smell and when asked about it, the host just kept telling us that it was freshly made. Avoid if you want edible dosa. Not sure about other items on the menu.

This is one of those eateries which despite not attracting much attention to a passerby, makes really good food. Being an Indian myselfcontinually trying the ever increasing Indian food options in and around Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Mountain View area, this place does stand out for it’s authenticity, price and non-fuss. While seating is limited and seems to have been an issue with several other visitors here, I believe they look forward to serving as a to-go restaurant primarily. I’ve tried their Goat Dosa, Gongura Dosa, Paneer Dosa and Goat Sukka, all of which I would definitely re-order again. I would though caution against their spice levels which typically tends to be a bit on the stronger end. In short, I currently consider it to be kind of a dearing home-like food place and would definitely recommend it to Indians and others alike!

Definitely come if you’re in the mood for dosas. Though the pandemic prevents you from enjoying them at their crispest, they are still a treat. We usually get the madras masala dosa, garlic naan, and chicken curry/butter chicken.

Awesome service and yummy food by the family run restaurant. Everything smells fresh and authentic South Indian flavors! We go there very week from South Bay leaving behind tons of options to dine at this cozy magical place called “Dosa point”.
