Waited 35 minutes on a to go order for 3 street tacos when I got them it was just the steak, unseasoned and just all around bad quality. They were completely dead and no reason it should’ve taken that long for 3 tacos and nothing else. It was so bad I didn’t even eat it and ended up getting Domino’s instead.

Went at 3:45, two of us eating. Ordered 2 quesadilla dinners and took 40 minutes to get our food. Not much chicken in them either. If it weren’t for such a long wait for two simple dinners it would have been better.

The House Special Tilapia with special sauce and grilled vegetables was the best meal I have had at an American Mexican Restaurant. It was flavorful and delicious. Great experience.

Average Mexican restaurant. Service was good but not great. Atmosphere was pleasant but very, very loud. My only food issue was that the steak in my burrito was extremely tough and was in huge chunks. I had to deconstruct the burrito to cut up the steak before I could eat it. To be fair, every other meal I have eaten here has been fine. Prices are reasonable…just avoid anything with steak.

All around good place to eat lunch for a change up for something other then Jojo’s after church on Sunday. The floor walking to an from our table was very slippery. Use caution an keep a close eye on your little ones an elderly.

We use to love Benton Los portalos this was by far the worst experience and we have had bad dishes before. Wanted to give them another try so I wouldn’t have to cook on my birthday, will not do again. We ordered shrimp rice bowl, chimichanga and kid quesadilla with fries. Starting with kid plate: quesadilla was fine, fries were not cooked all the way and soggy. Shrimp rice bowl: rice was hard and over cooked shrimp was rubbery and over cooked. Chimichangas suppose to be deep fried and crunchy. They were barely browned and soggy. Refried beans were runny and sour (they were bad). This meal cost us $62!! We are done giving the restaurant a retry. Best of luck to other diner’s. If your meal turns out good that is awesome.
