We did make reservations to this fairly recent open Texas Roadhouse for Monday night at 6:15pm.The restaurant was very busy. They got us in at our time and were greeted by friendly staff from the time we walked through doors. Staff followed us to our seat with fresh rolls as soon as we were seated. We had a very awesome server who made the experience even better. Our food was so tasty, from my salad to my country fried steak. The grandkids enjoyed steak tips and mini burgers. My son said his steak was perfectly cooked. Mango margarita was fabulous We will definitely visit often.

Had dinner on a Friday as expected it was a busy night . About a 50 min wait for 2 people which is reasonable. The Food is excellent for the price point. They were out of potato skins but the loaded steak fries were a good replacement. I would suggest ordering your steak 1 level rarer than you like it. As far as the service goes. We had to ask for rolls and refills on our drinks. We were not checked on after food was given out. I understand if the server is busy but… Our server was busy watching the basketball game. I’ve had better service at a buffet line.

Food was very overrated. The famous rolls were a let down. The lemonade was bland, I didn’t even finish half a glass before I asked for water. The Cactus Blossom, which is the equivalent of Outbacks Bloomin’ Onion was horrible, as it was like eating dry cardboard.

I thought this was a good place to grab a meal. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food. It’s a fun atmosphere with the country theme, my country fried sirloin was pretty good, & our server was adequate. Her job was made a little more difficult by how insanely loud it is inside there, we had trouble understanding each other at our table of four. The noise is my only knock on the place, other than that it was really good!

The cell phone check-in was great. Host station staff and waitress were great. Food was not. I ordered the porterhouse med rare. My wife ordered it rare. When I cut into mine, it was well done. I showed the waitress who agreed it was not made to order. She asked my wife how hers was. My wife cut into hers, and it was also well done. There was not a sign of pink on either steak. We have never sent a steak back anywhere, but both sent the plates back to the kitchen.

The food was decent but not spectacular. The bone in ribeye steak I got was large, tender, and very juicy. But lacked flavor. I will try again and still recommend because they’re obviously busy for a reason. Large menu to cover!

We went in to the Altoona Texas Roadhouse 3/31/23. I ordered a medium rare hamburger steak. Upon notifying management of the issue, Ashley with a little bit of attitude, told me since I ate half the steak I shall have to pay for it I was flabbergasted as I looked down and only see one bite taken out of the steak. I definitely change my opinion on this establishment wouldn’t recommend to family or friends. Sad
