This a place you need to visit if in Charleston. We had breakfast/lunch here and it was delicious. It was full when we arrived, but only wanted a few minutes for a booth. Our server. (can’t remember her name, but had on a strawberry shortcake shirt) was excellent. She had great recommendations for items on the menu and you could tell she had tried them. We had coffee which was bold in flavor. I had the fried tomato sandwich and my husband had country fried steak and gravy with eggs and home style potatoes. I don’t think you could go wrong with any choice off the menu. To finish our meal, we had the banana pudding and it was delicious too. If you’re in Charleston, definitely give them a try.

Great food and fun atmosphere. The waiter was was really nice and the food was great. My husband was not the biggest fan of their Biscuits and Gravy but the chicken and waffle was absolutely delicious the sauce and the breading on the chicken were my favorite. The price was actually pretty high for most places around. The chicken and waffles was almost $20 alone

Here from savannah for a VA appointment- this place was packed wall to wall, which makes me uncomfortable (anxiety issues) but the experience was great!

I’ve been here countless times and it’s for a good reason. Early Bird is extremely consistent and you know what you’re getting when you come here. I’ve only ever had good experiences!! I always try to come before 9 am since it does get busy, but it’s worth the wait.

Excellent pecan waffles and fried chicken. The combination of pecan waffles and maple syrup with the chicken dipped in their honey mustard BBQ sauce was crazy delicious. My wife had the buttermilk pancakes which were huge and delicious. She probably would have been good with a short stack. There was a line it the door at 10 which is a good sign, worth the wait.

This is a nice little breakfast place with great, friendly service. The French toast was really good and the pancakes as well. My wife’s eggs looked like they were cooked perfectly and she was happy with them. I really enjoyed that they display art on the walls which is for sale if you find one you fancy. I would definitely eat here again!
