During Prohibition, many flocked to Europe to imbibe, requesting traditional American cocktails. Bartenders throughout Europe infused the cocktails with their own touch. After the lift of the Prohibition, many of the recipes were imported back to the United States with a decidedly European influence. The name reflects a European sensibility and style, expertly mixing old with new, as well as the cocktail list featuring mostly European spirits. There’s nothing overly trendy or gimmicky about the European, just the timeless thrill of a finely made cocktail.

Keith was our waiter, and he was amazing. The food didn’t really meet our expectations. The oxtail was cold in the center.. The seafood paella was good but lacked a bit of salt and pepper to be great. The grilled octopus was on the rubbery side. The sangria was good. Here, it’s more on the dry side, which is not bad. However, they should have a sweet option as well. The garlic prawns were delicious. The oil it was in was so tasteful. We ordered bread to dip in it. In addition, we also liked the sauce the meatballs were in. The ambiance is a 5 out of 5. We really enjoyed the music selection here. It was a great variety of Spanish music. Next time, we will have to try different options on the menu and hopefully be able to give more than 3 stars.

Very disappointing Tapas Restaurant. The meat paella was not good at all. Was not cooked long enough. Was spicy and did not even get the spicy chorizo in it. The bell peppers and onions tottaly did not go in there. It was not crispy on the bottom like it was supposed to be. The only thing I liked was the bacon wrapped dates. I would not go back there again.

the paella wasn’t near to a real paella. It didn’t have any flavor, and it was burnt on the bottom, it taste unpleasant. very good tapas…

Nice ambiance and great staff. I was greatly disappointed with the paella maybe because I got the meat one. Chorizo should not be in the paella as the bitter taste takes away from all of the other flavors. I recommend doing just a chicken paella that way you can taste the olive oil, garlic, onion, etc. and it needed salt. I was disappointed because it didn’t taste like my dads paella and they didn’t serve it with bread which was also disappointing especially for the price.

Having lived in Spain for several months, it is always a challenge to find excellent Spanish food stateside. Bota, however, exceeded all expectations. Keith, our waiter, provided us with wonderful service with great recommendations and some friendly banter. The gin and tonic and sangria were both excellent, and we enjoyed them as we began with a favorite – patatas bravas with just the slightest bite. The chicken cannelloni was tasty, too, but my absolute favorite was the grilled octopus. It was the best octopus I have ever had! And I try it many places trying to find what I discovered at Bota. I would come back repeatedly for the octopus alone. ☺️ We ordered three desserts between the two of us – Crema Catalana, Santiago and Churros. Having the crema to add to both the churros and the Santiago was amazing. We had such a wonderful meal and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We highly recommend you try Bota (and especially the octopus!!!).

Heirloom tomatoes and fried potatoes were delicious. Meatball wasn’t flavorful without a spoonful of the sauce. Meat paella was a good dish to share, but the oxtail wasn’t what we expected – my husband said it was nasty. The service was okay – probably short staffed.

It’s a rare treat when you find a hotel thar actually cares about their lobby bar/restaurants. I mean, you get it. Their concern lays with the rooms, the parking situation, and so on. However, as a traveler, sometimes you don’t want to travel far to enjoy a good meal and a good cocktail or glass of wine. Thats what

Each tapa was a healthy portion. Service was fast. Waiter was friendly. We (2 people) ordered a cheese plate and 3 tapas, but two would have filled us up just good.

Bota has a very hip and cute ambiance. You can choose to sit at a high top table or standard. We ordered the Jamon Serrano charcuterie board, pulpo, patatas bravas (my favorite dish ever), and paella valencia.

Simply the best place to eat prior to a concert at the Fox Theater. Right across the street from the Fox, gourmet Spanish cuisine. We had 2 amazing starters and then split a meat Paella – my 1st non-seafood Paella, and it was absolutely fantastic!
