In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Yummy! We tried the hot and extra hot chicken fingers & sliders. Delicious pickles on the side. The sauce is good & you can ask for more & for honey packets. I liked both heat levels & would try the extreme next time if I wasn’t on a road trip . Really good seasoned crispy fries. Fresh slaw on the slider. Nice atmosphere, bright & colorful. Friendly fast service. Paid 25$ for a #3 + #4

My first visit to a Dave’s restaurant. Customer service was really good. The restaurant was clean and the wall art was a really nice touch. Fountain drinks and teas were good. The food came pretty quickly. Nice presentation. I honestly think the red chicken strips were a little much for me to process. I like a strip that tastes good without sauce. Maybe medium wasn’t spicy enough. It tasted better with the sauce. Fries were good. I’d try once more to get another assessment knowing what to expect. My niece said order their macaroni and cheese. I’ll try that and level up as well.

I was always hesitant to try this place when I saw their billboard, I finally gave it a shot, oh man! This place is very clean and plenty of sitting room. The restrooms are clean and the artwork inside is pretty cool. The servings are big and it can be a little pricey than I thought. The overall food quality of the service and their food is justified by their price. Delicious and abundan amount of food. I will be coming back for more.

We had never been to one of these but it looked good so we decided to stop. Best choice ever. The gentleman taking our order has such great customer service and described everything perfectly for spice level. Gave great recommendations, including adding honey to the sandwich. My lord this food was delicious. Definitely recommend stopping!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a few months. This was probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The chicken is juicy and crispy. They also put some coleslaw on it and pickles, and some kind of spicy mayo. I got one mild and one hot. The mild because I wanted to taste the chicken without all the spice and the hot to melt my lips off of my face. I can’t say anything about the atmosphere because I’m a truck driver and I got doordash delivery.

Getting gas on a road trip, drove past this place and the quirky exterior paint piqued my interest… I wasn’t disappointed! I ordered the two tenders and swapped the fries for kale slaw. THEY COULD SELL THE SLAW BY THE BUCKET!

I initially tried this franchise in Las Vegas. I was extremely excited to find out Waco had a location. I drove about 45 minutes for this chicken and was as impressed with it as the Vegas location. I ordered the hot and felt nothing. The Vegas location had me sweating while eating. The chicken was also bland, and my sliders could’ve had more slaw on them, and my fries were a little overcooked. The presentation was beautiful, and the service was impeccable. They are a little pricey as well, I love the graffiti artwork through the restaurant also. The restaurant was also clean inside and outside.

While in Waco, TX and seeing this spot myself and my husband decided to try it on our way back to San Antonio, TX. The person who worked the drive thru was friendly. She greeted us with a smile upon getting to the window to pay and receive our food. The food was awesome, fresh and hot. I loved the dipping sauce for the chicken tenders. The tenders were quite big, thick and juicy. We were not expecting the tenders to be that big. We will definitely go back there again when visiting Waco. If you have never tried this place you will not be disappointed. This was our first time trying it and we were quite impressed.

I just love the food here so I’m giving all 5☆. Got the extra hot and hot 10 piece hot box. Got 2 big containers of sauce and I’m in heaven. I absolutely love it. Only thing that I don’t like is having to drive an hour from Killeen to get here.
