I recently found out about this new Vietnamese spot in the neighborhood so my parents, sister, and I decided to check it out. It was a Saturday at around 1 pm and the place was more than half full. We were all starving so we ordered a feast and tried a little bit of everyone’s dish. We had:

This review is strictly for their beef cube with white rice. Aside from its price, which is pretty reasonable (11ish dollars if you order via Uber eats), this dish is not really that tasty. The portion is incredibly small, as you can clearly see from the picture. Some other Vietnamese restaurants provide big chunks of beef cubes, whereas Pho BK provides quite a few tiny pieces. Personally, bigger cubes tastes better in my experience and hence, why I am giving this dish a 2 star rating. I’m not sure if other dishes are better, so if you’re going to give this restaurant a try, just stay clear from their beef cube.

New pho place had to come try their broth and summer rolls and spring rolls. Always a plus for having jalapeños.

The pho is good but it took way too long. Their fried spring rolls are amazing and the greens were fresh. The tea tasted like hot water though. Overall 6/10.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Brooklyn! Old school, family recipe, own, and operate! Total nostalgia, came here in junior high school to college! Super glad they’re back! Their pho is a 12+ hours broth! Highly recommend this place!

Their Stir fried beef with satay sauce Banh Mi sandwich is average. The veggies lack the vinegar taste. The beef sauce is OK, but the sandwich does not have the characteristic that makes it a Banh Mi

I’m usually picky about Vietnamese food. I am Vietnamese and want authentic Viet food so I often look for Vietnamese owned Vietnamese restaurants, but it is not easy in NYC. I believe this restaurant is Chinese owned and the food is solid. We ordered Pho tai and Banh hoi with fried rolls and grilled meat. My partner and I were both happy with our orders.
