I recently ate ate sushi one and was blown away by the new quality of the food. I could tell everything was super fresh and this was by far my favorite sushi in Raleigh. Service was also very quick and attentive and the manager Nam was super polite and welcoming when seating us. I will be back!

On a rainy day on a Saturday, I arrived in the evening and got sat down pretty quickly after greeting one of the hosts at the front desk. The interior design is pretty decorative, extremely pretty, and well-detailed. I cannot stop looking around because of how pretty the restaurant is.

Extremely impressed with the NEW Sushi One. Pride of ownership shows with the new family owners. They have taken what was there as the base concept, stripped it down, and rebuilt it as their own. Everything from the décor, dishware, and the whole dining experience went from your run-of-the-mill strip mall eatery to an upscale lounge in the quiet suburbs of NW Raleigh. I find myself wanting to dine in and skip the takeout.

We have been eating at sushi one since they opened. The shrimp fried rice was delicious and the spicy chicken was more than you could eat. We ordered pick up 6 months or so ago and the shrimp fried rice was not eatable. It had a very strange taste. I called and they really didn’t care and seemed to not believe me.

I have eaten in many Asian restaurants, and this was definitely one of the best in North Carolina. I ordered the tofu vegetable green curry. I could have drank the sauce. Delicious! Silky, with just enough chili and ginger. Crisp, crunchy vegetables with lovely presentation. Nam warmly greeted us at the door. Service was prompt and attentive.
