We are Jimmy and Annette White, the owners of AGP. We are all about the food. This concept was designed to be chef-driven. Fires to be attended to, sausages to smoke, starters, and sourdough to maintain. We are purposely stepping back in time and doing things the old-school way. Every speck of food produced here is made with love and the intent for you to feel that love. We hope you will notice a difference in many of the things we do. Folks tell us there is a certain vibe in our restaurant. Annette and I like to think that people can still see, feel, and taste the passion we have. That passion is for GOD, FAMILY, COUNTRY, and FOOD!

This pizza joint has the ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE! Great food, great atmosphere, great prices, clean, hospital, and, most of all, you can feel the love that everyone in the kitchen has for serving great pizza to every customer. When we took a bite of our pizza, garlic mushroom dip, and salad we can literally taste the love that was put into it. Great job to the entire team. You guys are awesome and truly blessed. It’s a privilege to enjoy the blessings that the Lord has placed on business.

The BEST pizza in New Braunfels! The flavor of their crust is enhanced by beer in the dough and you can’t beat the real wood-fired flavor! Service is excellent and the ingredients are top notch. This isn’t your cheap, cardboard take away pizza, this is REAL GOOD PIZZA. Be sure to grab a cold local beer on tap when you visit.

My family and I have been meaning to try Above Ground Pizza since it opened and we were impressed by all of the high reviews. We decided to grab take out for dinner. Unfortunately, our first experience was absolutely horrible. We ordered a large Supreme Pizza (pepperoni, “homemade sausage”, fresh basil, roasted red peppers, and black olives) and an order of the cheesy bread. Paid $38 for the two items.

Not my cup of tea. Seems to have quality ingredients but the bread was limp and soggy and the toppings just separated from the bread on every slice. The BLT was great and I would like to try other sandwiches.
