We decided to go for dinner since we saw it on our way for work, so we decided to check it out. I was not impressed at all. It was so hot to where I couldn’t enjoy our first time there. I will not there again since the place felt unwelcome and hot to where eating food would make me sick.

Not good at all we should have trusted the reviews but we have it the benefit of the doubt. The food is horrible. I ordered a chimichanga and the meat was just nasty the rice was hard and can tell it was very old rice. The carne asada was disgusting the meat had a bad taste and it wasn’t cooked well. Even the kids didn’t like the chicken nuggets or fries. It’s no wonder they don’t have customers. Definitely won’t be back it’s just a waste of money. If I could I wouldn’t have given any stars.

My wife and I had lunch today. It was terrible. First of all, we both had quesadillas, they had such little fajita meat on there, it was ridiculous. When the manager came by I had mine open and made a comment. He ignored me.

Not impressed, red salsa had wierd flavor/Seasoning? Green alsa good flavor but too hot to enjoy and I like hot. Crunchy tacos, ground beef very bland. One and done, sorry…. Bakery next door is great.

Waitress had to waved down multiple occasions to get more water, more chips and salsa. Never checked on us unless we got her attention. Fajita meat in taco was very dry. My friend ordered something off the menu and they made it twice and still got it wrong. The messy nachos were good and the burrito was decent. Overall? No, I won’t be back.

The service was great! Our order came out very quickly, within 10 minutes. It all smelled appetizing, but the refried beans were a bit runny, as is seen in the picture. The food on the brunch menu is a bit pricey, while the food prices on the dinner menu is comparable to other Houston-area Mexican restaurants. If you like sweet tea, you’ll have to add sweetness. Their flour tortillas are really good, but the chicken isn’t very flavorful. I would recommend this restaurant if you would like to try a place that you’ve not tried before, just so you can make your own opinion.

I do not know what has happened to Marina’s, but it is not the Marina’s I know. We were seated and there were only 2 other tables with people on a Friday night at 7:30 pm. One table was leaving as we were seated.

The only good thing about our first visit was the tea. Everything else was below mediocre. My chicken had absolutely no seasoning, the red sauce had almost no Mexican flavor, even the little salad on my plate was bad. It was mostly chopped raw onion. And the chips and salsa weren’t great. I am new to this area, still looking for Mexican food like in Dallas.
