This was our first time at the Red Rooseter. The good was really good. Our waiter Grant was very nice and had a great personality. He helped me pick between 2 meals. My table had Chicken Fried Chicken, Bacon Melt, Grilled Shrimp, Fried Shrimp, and Wings.

Great service, great food, atmosphere is fantastic as well. Pictured is the Thai Chili wings, Chicken Fried Steak and Onion Rings. All made from scratch and delicious. We have previously had the Ribeye, Prime Rib, Haystack Burger and Chicken Stips. All are exceptional. There is also a good selection of beer and wine. Being a new place there is a little wait on on food due to staffing issues. Do not let this deter you from dining here.

This is a really nice place to go for dinner. A change from same old in Lincoln. The short drive to Ceresco was worth it. The service was exemplary. The food, the homemade style that you can’t find anywhere else, for sure, was good. Able to have conversations with friends (even with a 3 year old) was refreshing. No sports on a TV in the background so good conversation was had by all. Will be back!

Famous for their chicken and with good reason. I ordered 4 pieces just to have some to take home. Ive always heard about their REAL mashed potatoes abs milk gravy but Ive never tried before. To die for. Even the green beans were good.

First I will say the staff and owner was fantastic, best I’ve seen in a long time. When we got there, about 10 minutes before they opened there was quite the line. We sat down and our waitress was right there to get our drink orders, around that time another table was seated and I noted they sat there for about 20 minutes before they were asked about drinks. Unfortunately the food was not at all what we’ve heard and read about. Tough ribeye, canned green beans. Their pies were good and our guest loves your carrot cake. The price certainly was high for the quality food we received. Also very loud, so it was hard to have conversations.

Finally got to experience the legendary Red Rooster. The service, food, and atmosphere were great. Huge portions, made from scratch, just really good food. I had the chicken fried steak and it took up the whole 10″ dinner plate. Great selections of pie also. I highly recommend it.

This place is definitely one of a kinda there is a lot going on in this establishment. The servers are friendly and make sure that you are taking care of it. I had Ribeye and ordered it the way I like it, and it actually came out perfectly. The price is kinda pricey but when you think about the quality it’s really not that expensive. I took a pie to go and it was delicious

We were surprised to find a recently, and pleasantly, decorated restaurant only a couple of blocks off Hwy 77. The onion rings and chicken were fried perfectly without being greasy. Nice and crispy. Good service. We’ll be back to try their prime rib soon.
