Great service and a good burger. We were going to split a double the bar tender suggested ordered the twins. Which the just took the double and made two single burgers and we split the fries. Was perfect for two people. One of the better burgers I have had in Charleston. Got an appetizer of garlic knots and cheese. Was good but not a lot of garlic flavor more of just a Parmesan cheese flavor. Over all good!

We made a quick stop to grab some dinner at Little Jacks Tavern as it was one of the restaurants on our list to visit. The atmosphere was slightly dark and the food was really good especially the server. Ryan served us that evening and was attentive in checking up with his guests. My wife and I ordered the grouper hush puppies, the surf and turf burgers with garlic & herb fries and the grilled Mahi with roasted Brussels sprouts. The food was delicious and we highly recommend checking out this tavern!

The overall visit was actually not terrible, but it certainly wasn’t what I had expected. I think instead of calling it a “restaurant and bar” I would call this a spirits spot with small plates/quick eats. I got their burger and it was NOT worth the $16 it cost (it is the size of a McDouble at best) with one slice of cheese, a few grilled onions, and secret sauce. The $2 up charge for the garlic and herb fries was definitely a prime choice however. It would have been nice to know the sparkling water would be a $7 charge. Instead our server asked if they could start us with still, tap, or sparkling water. I would recommend rewording that to “can I get you started with any complimentary water? We have sparkling as well” or something along those lines to indicate a charge since that info is not printed anywhere on the menu. Overall, I wouldn’t go again due to the high prices and “low quantity”, but I’m not terribly disappointed that I went.

Second time here and although it wasn’t as good as the first time the tavern burger with pieces of the bacon appetizer, brussel sprouts, and fries were all very good.

Absolutely loved this little gem. Reminds me of a NY city tavern. Very clean, great menu, knowledgeable waitstaff, terrific drinks and probably the best fish/chips I’ve had (and I’ve had them in a lot of states)!!! The oil was clean, the breading light and crispy and the haddock was huge. Delicious…make your reservations, this little place gets packed!

Wow, simply delicious and perfectly executed burger and fries. This place is on a few best in Charleston burger lists for a well deserved reason. We will return. Charming atmosphere too.

Delicious, high quality burger, got the Tavern double. Loved the garlic herb French fries. Chopped salad was also amazing. Great vibes and friendly staff. Wait was less than we were told which was encouraging also.

We went to Little Jack’s Tavern for a date night while out of town. There was a $50 hold charge for a reservation on a Thursday night, which was a little odd to me, but we did have to make the reservations in advance to get in, and we’ve heard that Little Jack’s Tavern is hard to get into at times.
