The chicken pie is loaded with big chunks of chicken. I tried the vegetable one and it had potatoes + carrots. The crust was flaky, light + tasty. No Peas though which is why I gave 4 *. They have a choice of fresh or frozen pies + with or without vegetables. In a good location, pleasant service.

I love Harrows. But today I got 2 soups in addition to my pie and the only thing I can say about them is…bizarre. They literally tasted like tap water with chicken, rice and carrots in it. The pies are SO GOOD so I figured the soup would be too. Maybe someone forgot to season or add broth? Maybe this is just the way they taste? It was so strange…seriously…it tasted like tap water. Major disappointment.

The chicken pie had potato’s and carrots instead of carrots and peas! The chicken in the pie – large chewy pieces of chicken. The butternut squash- watery- the potato’s-nasty! The apple pie – the apples are hard! Part of the Apple core was in the pie! The crust was thick and disgusting. What happened to this place? Don’t waste your money!
