Excellent food, less than mediocre service. Our server, who I don’t believe ever introduced herself, was kind.. but horribly inattentive. The couple that was seated after us received their ramen before we even received our drinks, which, mind you, was just water and a ramune. Ramen was just as good as I remembered, though unfortunately I cannot say the same for the service.

Nice place to enjoy the ramen. They offer a lot of options, but the Tonkatsu Traditional is the recommended. All the flavours and taste of the ramen is delicious and kept you eating in a loop with the thick noodles and the brots. The preparation is consistent with the tradition. You should to try it. Completely recommended.

The portion size was UNACCEPTABLE! First time trying Jinya. Very disappointed and will not be returning. Ordered to go, the Jinya Chicken Ramen. The picture cannot do this review Justice. Look at the space from the food to the rim. Not even the soup made the ramen overflow in abundance. The chicken portion was literally scraps you’d give your dog that fell on the floor or the portion you’d give someone who’s never tried meat before. See how thin the chicken is… really? Poor and rushed cut. The soup was tasty but the overall value for portion does not make any sense. Maybe this is ramen culture— overpriced. But I’ll spend my money somewhere else in the future. These chain restaurants are bullies when I’m sure I can find a mom and pop ramen spot who will give me plenty of food for a decent price.
