I’ve enjoyed this restaurant from decades ago when I was a child, and it makes me happy to see it’s still around while so much else has changed in this town. The food is comfort and delicious, and the servers are kind and patient. Bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. The only downside for me is how dim the lighting is.

The meundo was terrible. Would not recommend it. Though the salad with bacon wrapped shrimp was really good except they were out of sauce to dip the shrimp in and the little bit of salad dressing I did get tasted like a little bit of ranch with Sprite or 7-up in it. Kinda disappointing cause it used to be one of our favorite places to eat. And our drinks were good.

Ixtapa Snohomish-Huge portions! Be careful don’t down too many complementary chips and salsa….Great service. Had their shrimp seviche, fish tacos, and fried jalapeños. A…mazing!!!!!! Oh and churro! Ohhh……something special. I won’t tell you how they serve it so it wouldn’t ruin surprise.

Good food, good drinks. The menu is huge, so decided to stick to what I like most, quesdilla and fajitas. Ordered spinach quesdilla, they were yummy, wish I had ordered it without cheese. Nevertheless, stop by here If you are visiting the town for ski diving.

My 5-star review is mostly based on one dish: Molcajete. Super yummy, has great variety… there’s a cheese-stuffed jalapeño wrapped in bacon in there. House chips were clearly homemade and just fried. Vibe and ambience was festive.

We are fans of Ixtapa and normally visit the one in Redmond Ridge. Our favorite part of Ixtapa is their salsa which has lots flavor and can be a little spicy. This location had the same type of salsa so it felt authentic. Outside of that you can expect normal American Mexican fare here. Along with a nice bar that makes good margaritas.
