At our Benton, AR location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Sweet Baby “Sweet Baby Jesus” Jesus
1:17pm Saturday August 19th, 2023. I was left waiting in the parking lot for 15 minutes by the rudest cashier “Cynthia.” I had to go inside after 15 minutes to get my food. I paid over $35 for a 10 piece family pack, with over $3 for a family side upgrade to okra, and all we got was a single side of okra. Also only received ONE cup of tartar sauce for A 10 PIECE FAMILY MEAL….. All thanks to the great “Cynthia.” I was then hung up on by the staff, probably this same “Cynthia,” after trying to get this corrected or get my money back. Will not be back. Do not go here if you want good food, good service or a good experience at all. Will be contacting the corporate office over this as well.

We were given fish covered in old burnt fish batter crumbs because they don’t clean out their fryers! Absolutely disgusting! When I called the restaurant the phone had a busy dial tone. Even the next day I couldn’t get a hold of anyone! Won’t be going back here!!! They should be ashamed to serve food like that!!!

Only one person working front. She stayed cheerful while taking window orders and inside orders and running food out to cars in 96° heat. No one got upset because all were so amazed at her cheerfulness with air not working properly indoors. Was about 80/81° inside. She is the best.

Service has really tanked recently 🙁 pulled up to the speaker and said “hi” and got a response of “I’m busy!” By the “nice” lady in there. Got our food, it was rather cold, pretty sure it had been sitting there for a bit honestly, my mac and cheese tasted water down, cheese on it looked kinda thin too. Overall, I might not go back unless they have some more worthwhile food, not worth the $30 i spent for me and my mother, given my mother got sick from the food too. Just wish the lady in drive thru would have been somewhat nicer, she snatched the card from my hand, our drinks were sort of off tasting, too.

Tried it for the first time. As soon I pulled up they immediately it will be a long wait bc they are short staff. I decided to stop wait. It’s took l roughly 20+ mins to get my food. While waiting for my I heard the woman say my shrimp was “ice cold” and watched her take the box to the back. The way they taste you can tell she just went and re-dipped them back in the grease. I also tried the spicy fish which also tasted off. The next day I end up with a bad stomach virus Which has forced me to miss two days of work so far. Never going there again.

Used to be good. I didn’t get any broccoli. And no, I didn’t say anything cause if you can’t get it on my plate when I order it & it’s on a ticket in front of you, then why should I go back to get it? I paid $8 for the sorriest lobster roll I’ve ever seen. No flavor on a “blackened” tilapia. DO BETTER!!!!!!

Ordered to go and paid online. I ordered two 4 piece (Pollock) at Captain D’s and two 3 piece catfish dinners at Chicken Express. Price per oz. is considerably less at Captain D’s. Fresh Pollock is $2/ lb. more at Kroger. Next time, I’ll try Captain D’s catfish.

Food was ok. Service was terrible and the person working the front counter didn’t know the menu at all. Several people asked to turn the air up cause it was freezing (felt like we were in a freezer) and the lady was rude and said I’m not doing it (said sun may come out and it’s storming). And walked out side.
