I ordered a four piece chicken tender meal with okra. Half regular half spicy strips. I have ordered this exact thing from other locations and my spicy strips were a spicy batter not a seasoning. My okra was over cooked an so hard to even chew. They charge you 50 cents for dipping sauce. The food is way to expensive for it to be less than mediocre.

The Car Guide
Food was good however they don’t include dipping sauce with chicken tender kids meals. I asked them for 1 pkg of honey mustard for our sons meal and they would not give it to us. They said it was not included…. Ok then. I would’ve happily paid for it if they gave us the option when we did.

If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. Order the fish. Old and burnt is all I could taste. Literally no fish detected. Gave that to the dog. Had the mashed potatoes. Possibly made yesterday. I think the roll was the only editable thing in my meal. I haven’t been here in about 4 years and decided, let me give them a chance. Now I remember why I stopped going. Bad food and sub-par service, maybe in another 4 years

I just want to start by saying after placing our order and going around the drive thru to pay the girl at the first window didn’t say a word when taken my payment and giving it back, and then we pulled up to the next window to get our food and the guy at that window didn’t say a single word either?? No “thank you”, “how are you” nothing. The food was horrible the mashed potatoes tasted like grits with no salt and gravy on top, and the chick was so dry I could barely swallow it. I thought about calling and complaining but they will most like just offer free food and honestly I don’t even want that. I will never come back to this location again

We went to Golden Chick for the first time today. We stood and studied the menu for several minutes as this was the first time either of us had been there. We both decided on the 3 pc catfish combo. The cashier told us that the combo that we wanted was no longer available, some kind of promotion or something. There is a big blue electronic menu that was scrolling several items and there prices. This is where we saw the 3pc combo. The cashier said that the special had ended but they had not changed the sign. I said so everything on that blue screen is not available? Well it just went down hill from there. Short story is that my first visit was horrible. We left and got our fish at one your competitors places. Dont know if we will give you a second chance or not, we shouldn’t have to. You should have done a better job!

This food was amazing. The rolls are really good. Hot and sweet. The catfish was so good. It was late and everything was still so fresh. I definitely recommend Golden Chick if you like chicken. The only thing that wasn’t that good was the coleslaw. I don’t eat green beans, I don’t like the taste, but I tried them here and it change my mind. Try this place. You won’t regret it.
