I ordered the latte and it was good. The everything bagel sandwich was not. I am Not sure the cooking method but the bagel was really hard and chewy. Probably wouldn’t get that again. long wait lines too, almost 45 min for an online order. I honestly don’t see a benefit to ordering online if you have to wait in line for pick up. I’ll go back for sure but maybe after they find their groove.

There was no line, so things were running smoothly. Location is tricky so back-ups are going to happen. My experience on a Sunday at 8:40am was quick and friendly. They seemed staffed and ready for rushes. My coffee was very good – large dark roast coffee with a shot of espresso. My sandwich was good – maple waffle. It came out hot and fresh. At first it didn’t seem very flavorful, but as it cooled off, it became yummier.

While I enjoy the quality of Scooter’s food and drink, I had a disappointing experience recently. While going through the drive through, a woman who I overheard to be named Laura was belittling a young employee. This young woman was polite, professional, and friendly while reading back my order. I truly appreciated her confirming my drinks so that they were correct. This woman, Laura, was scowling and looking at this young woman telling her “Stop doing that, you’re taking too much time.” She was taking more time than anything else while also creating an awkward transaction. I am not sure why a supervisor or owner would create that kind of atmosphere, but I really hope this review is an eye opener. That young woman was working very hard and you broke her for no good reason.

Scooter’s Coffee is the best addition in the area. Othe coffee chains want to add luxury to coffee and try to include a lot of people beyond. They do COFFEE! Hot, Blended, Desserts and the breakfast items that go with it. Also, there are a couple of other beverages including smoothies and other ice drinks without the posh attitude. Other than Chick-fil-A, they have the best mobile app service so download app and your drive thru experience will be expedited.

Still room to learn. I just asked for a simple coffee with cream. She didn’t know if they had flavored coffee or not even though there was a sign after you pulled up that they had it. They moved the line through pretty quickly. Good rewards program. Nice to have them in town.

Delicious coffee. Very slow lines, though. I blame that on the newness. There really should be a way to pick up your app orders beside waiting in line to get to the window. I waited 25 minutes in line for an online order so it sorta defeats the purpose of order ahead being a “time saver”. Otherwise, the coffee is very good and I hope they get all the wrinkles of opening ironed out soon.
