Sat outdoor. I got street parking. Dim sum all day with large selection of alcoholic beverage, but didn’t try any. Large selection of dim sum and many vegan dim sums. Siu mai was excellent. Vegan Turnip cake was good. All the wrappings were al dente. No pieced of pork fat in any bite. Will definitely go back.

I made a reservation through Open Table and luckily it wasn’t too crowded when I arrived. I was given my choice of table and decided to eat in the patio. It was raining and my friend and I did have to move due to some errant leaks, but overall we were finally settled enough to order. We ordered the har gow and chicken bao (standard), soup dumplings, and a vegan dim sum w/ shitake mushrooms and we actually had a second order because it was very tasty. Since it was my first time there, we did order a dessert bao (Strawberry cheesecake). For drinks, my friend and I ordered a teapot of a tea blend. And I tried a drink called a hot coke. Overall, I love getting dim sum because there is also a huge amount of options to try. The menu is quite extensive with 3 pieces sually and more for the soup dumplings. The parking is a bit tough as it is attached to a building and I wasn’t sure if there was any restaurant parking. I ended up parking on the street. I will definitely be back to try other items.

I really wanted to like this place bc there isn’t a good dimsum place on the west side – you always have to travel east (actually there arent a lot of good chinese restaurants in general on the west side)

Came here with a small group on a Sunday early dinner and while the place wasn’t very busy, the service wasn’t great. The waitress did take our order fairly quickly but we hardly saw her after that. Once in a while she came to drop something off then immediately left. We were never asked if we needed anything and it was a mission just to order more. The food itself was good, but I’ve had better dim sum elsewhere for more affordable prices. Nice to visit, but won’t be back.

Want some tasty and colorful dim sum dishes delivered by a cat robot to your table? Let’s give them dumpling to talk about, Iron Teapot Dim Sum & Bar is definitely that spot you should go when that dim sum craving is real! It has a modern twist concept on a classic dim sum restaurant and every bite I had was just spectacular. They also have a bar that serves beer and delicious cocktails — yes, dim sum and cocktails, it couldn’t get any better than that! Don’t miss on their delightful animal dessert baos too. Service was amazing and the employees were so friendly! This spot is absolutely worth your time visiting and a must indeed!

It was really good. The food was really tasty. My fiancé had the regular dim sum, and I have the vegan versions. It was delicious and you couldn’t tell a difference between the two. So that’s good if you’re vegan. Only thing was we went there because they had robot waiters, but it didn’t really seem like they had that part down yet. I don’t know if they just barely opened. But the robot waiters and the regular waiters were kind of interchangeable, in the way that the regular waiters were just grabbing the food off of the robot waiters. Instead of us being able to interact with them. Otherwise it was great. The staff was more than friendly. And we got sat pretty quickly.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely dinner here visiting from SF! Thomas and Carlos were both very attentive (the best service we received on our whole trip to LA ☺️) and the bbq pork buns were delicious! The little cat robot they used to drop off the food was just the cherry on top of our experience. Between taste, affordability, and the service, I’d easily recommend this spot to any of my friends looking for a fun weeknight out

3.5 for me. Food is really good but… the portion sizes are tiny! When they delivered the first dish I was shooketh. It was smaller than the palm of my hand and I have a small hand. You would have to order 70+ per person to suffice for a normal meal and I ain’t no daddy warbucks

It was my birthday and I wanted to try something different. I hadn’t had Dim Sum since I was a kid visiting my Chinese uncle in San Francisco and Dim Sum came up. This place was suggested and I’m extremely satisfied with our experience! Literally every bite was delicious. The dumplings were perfectly stuffed and cooked. You could tell the ingredients were fresh. Even the pictures don’t do it justice but I’ll upload some to help. The little Dim Sum robot was adorable.
