Just spent 50$ @ Church’s Chicken in Jonesboro, Ar. I ordered the liver box – very dry tastes like plain flour, no seasoning. I ordered the gizzard box – it is dry, but does have a little salty flavor, no other seasoning. I ordered 8 chicken strips, again lightly salted & no other seasoning. Mashed potatoes were good according to my 4 yr old.But the fried rice was soggy, tastes like it has sausage (yes, pork sausage) in it. I don’t eat pork so I called them only for them to tell me I’m wrong, I don’t believe I am tho. Also ordered the jalapeño bites but haven’t tried them, everything is very greasy… Very disappointed… will not be back, a waist of 50$ because this will go uneaten.

This is my last time going to this location. The gizzards had some sort of horrible, bitter taste to them. Also, as I have noticed on a previous visit, their oil is burned and old. It’s sad that they are ruining such a good restaurant with such horrible choices.
