Super surprised with the absolutely great food. The service was incredible also. Probably the best potatoes I have ever had. The Eggs Benedict were great. A really good hollandaise sauce.

We were passing through town and stopped by for a quick dinner, and were so glad we chose this spot. We shared some truffle fries and a shepherd’s pie. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Large portions, and delicious flavors. Would definitely come back the next time we are passing through this area.

What a treat in the backwoods of Pattenburg/Asbury, NJ. Met some friends on Saturday at this spot for a drink and met the owner, Attila. Really friendly guy that made you feel like you were sitting at his home enjoying good music and fine spirits. The interior was simple but elegant. Everything was clean and taken care of. My friends had gotten there earlier and enjoyed some burgers, that they related to me as really good. I asked if they did a Sunday brunch and Attila brought me out the brunch menu. It looked real good and eclectic. I said I’ll be back tomorrow with my daughter for brunch. Next day I took my daughter there at 1pm. The service was great. The food was really yummy. I had the Eggs Benedict and my daughter had the Wild Mushroom Flatbread. Delicious! Everything was the perfect temperature, texture and flavor. We shared the Napoleon Beet Salad as an appetizer and the deconstructed bread pudding (Kaiserschmarren) for dessert. Sooo good!

I’ve gotten very excited when I heard about this new gastro pub that opened right around the corner, and I’ve gotten even more excited when I checked their menu online and saw the very familiar dishes I grew up with. I just couldn’t get out of my mind the Kaiserschmarren so last night we went for dinner. My husband warned me don’t get too excited: ” you know it’s hard to come up to your mom`s amazing cooking”. Well I tell you and told the owner Attila that his dishes were just as good as mom’s! Not only the food was delightful but the service was great, very friendly and welcoming. So refreshing to have quality and freshly cooked food in this area that is made with pride! We had the soft pretzel with the yummy nostril cleaning spicy mustard. The baked spätzle Mac and cheese – with a hint of dill that just elevated the good old comfort food to a whole other level. Then we tried the Bratwurst over sauerkraut and the night`s special Borsos Tokany which is a tender pork ragu with peas over fries. Amazing!!!! And of course we finished with the Kaiserschmarren – an Austrian variation for crepes drenched in warm fresh blueberry sauce! Well done Attila and Staff! We will be back!

Went here for the first time with my boyfriend and we loved it! I got the chicken paprikash and would highly recommend it. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and was really kind and attentive. It did take a bit for the food to come out, but a) we knew this beforehand because we read the reviews and so we were fine with that and b) they are still very new and are trying to hire more local people and get their kitchen staff the proper training to memorize/perfect the food. Overall I love that Muddy Waters offers a new and refreshing menu compared to the other restaurants in the area and the food, atmosphere, and service were great!

I’ve been going to their open jam on Thursday nights. Food is excellent. Bartender is attentive and nice. Tons of talent at this open mic, but everyone gets to play, beginners to pro. If you’re just looking to get some playing experience they have a great house band to back you up (make u sound better). This is not the same place that it used to be (American Spirits Roadhouse) – much better food and atmosphere than before…

Our family has been looking for an authentic Hungarian restaurant for years, and today we have found what we’ve been looking for for so many years. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the owner goes above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. We went here to celebrate a birthday and a nameday, and even received a surprise complimentary cake as a celebration. It’s a new favorite spot for us and we encourage you to give it a shot, too!

Great food, fun atmosphere, new owners are really friendly and attentive to their customers’ needs. Live music every Saturday and Sunday makes it a great place to hang out. Line dancing on Wednesdays is something to try next. Place is under new ownership so excuse the bit of wait time, they are working on hiring local staff so they can expedite food and bar orders.
