We ordered takeout for the first time and loved the food! The veg phet Thai was flavorful and full of veggies and tofu. Plenty of food for leftovers! The whole family loved the vegetarian pakoras and samosas. The chicken and shrimp curry dishes tasted good to the meat eaters.

What a beautiful and clean restaurant. My 1st time here today on Thanksgiving Night with my boys. My son has been talking about this place for so long and finally my older son is home from college and we got a chance to try it together. Glad we came here today. Service was very nice with 2 young girls. The girl said the butter Naan is on us and wished us Happy Thanksgiving. Very sweet. Absolutely will go back again and will try different kind next time.

This is my favorite restaurant. The cuisine is always excellent, and I am always satisfied with my dinner, regardless of what I order! Also excellent are the servers, who are usually efficient, cheerful, and courteous. I can’t wait to go back, and I would recommend it to anyone seeking for a good meal.

We had dinner “in” for our 37th anniversary.we The food was excellent: Biranyi chicken, Butter chicken. And vegetable korma. A side of butter Nan. Next time I will order the spiciest version of the Biranyi. Was a bit to mild but delicious.

By far the best dumplings I have had in Vermont. The meals are reasonably sized and reasonably priced. The staff was also super friendly!

We really wanted to like and support this new(ish) local restaurant. We dined in one time early this month (May, 2021) and did take away 3x since. Dining in with friends: all of us liked the butter chicken and saag paneer a lot. We wanted to try a variety of dishes. Veg biryani was ok (a bit dry), chicken tikka masala ok, but a but on the runny/soupy, but had some taste, although very mild. Nans ok. A bit dry. Chicken korma chewy but the sauce was ok. Recognizable as korma. All dishes were very mild. Too mild even for kormas, masalas, and butter chicken. I thought the samosa chaat was great. Companions didn’t care for the look and did little more than give a courtesy taste. Chicken pakora was tasteless. Yes, there was a lot of chicken on the table. The dining in experience ranged from comical to unpleasant. We were the only diners. Tho there was brisk take-away traffic. Smoke in restaurant from smokers (not customers) on deck with door open. We kept closing the door, as it was cold out, and we found the smoke unpleasant. Smokers kept coming and going and leaving door open. One let us know they were annoyed that we kept closing the door. The waiter, who seemed to be the only person doing anything, was really inattentive. Ask for glasses, get two. Had to ask for more. As for utensils, two sets. And so on. It took a long time to get served. To spare more detail, they just are not geared up for dining in. The bar is not open contrary to what their materials say, but we were able to go get something from the local outlet, and bring it back well before the food arrived. Papadums were a nice surprise. Overall, the food was good or promising. We have done take away 3x times since that first dining in experience each time inviting friends, hoping to support interest in the future of the place. Each time things got worse. The final one on May 14 was rock bottom for a little party of six. The restaurant didn’t include the samosa chaat which I had prepped everyone for with my original rave. We had to drive back to get it. No apology or comment except from the only diners in the place. A couple who when they heard I was there to get a dish that was not put in our bag one yelled across the room “We don’t have it!!” A moment of déjà vu for me as I offered back that things come in stages as the waiter delivered one knife to their table. Are they discouraging people form dining in or what? Everything on this latter occasion was so bland and mild that there were tons of leftovers. Our friends were polite but apparently not very hungry for anything besides butter chicken. Which was again good. Runny, tasteless chicken tikka masala, sag paneer so dry no one ate it. The vegetable curry looked so sad, sitting there in a transparent, watery looking liquid that no one but me seemed to even take a taste. Dal makhana was completely without taste or substance. Runny. Samosa chaat… how embarrassing for me. I bought it home but ultimately tossed most. I am going to heat the veg curry and add some ingredients. Our friends declared the nans good, but we stuffed most of them in our bag as we were leaving. They were all so polite. One kept saying it was good but she wouldn’t go back. The restaurant had also forgot to put the papadums we ordered in the bag but by the time we noticed no one cared. Gratefully, our hosts had yummy cookies on hand which everyone dived for as we watched the sunset. I wish I knew what happened. The food was soooo good on first visit. Wonder if they lost the original chef. Can’t survive if butter chicken is the only thing that sells. Maybe when they get the bar license they will get some real wait staff. And start caring about the food. Live in hope.

A friend & I have just had a delightful meal at this wonderful gem of a restaurant, being the first customers to enjoy their new hours (Tues – Sun, 3 – 9pm)! We shared a delicious, richly spiced Thukpa (noodle soup), Nepali Thali (an assortment of curries that included saag paneer, chicken tikki masala & aloo gobi), beef dumplings and garlic naan. I don’t profess to be a connoisseur of authenticity when it comes to Nepali or Indian food, but I’ve dabbled enough in the genre to know what I like, and found plenty of gratifying flavors here. I especially enjoyed the thupka broth, loaded with noodles, thinly sliced vegetables & tons of flavor — exactly what I needed on this rainy fall afternoon. Equally pleasant was the conversation with our attentive server, Ranjita, who answered all our many questions about menu offerings and the establishment itself. Aruna was charming as well, bringing extra pickles & takeout containers, and we left comfortably full, happy, and certain to return again.
