Top 5 meals all time. Service, atmosphere, quality, taste, and price. We started with the stuffed portobello, salad with home made dressing. I had the salmon fish of the day and the misses had coconut shrimp. We finished it off with New York strawberry cheesecake, absolutely decadent. Tip of the hat to our server Nicki and the proprietor George. Definitely a repeat whenever we are in town.

Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Upon walking in the restaurant you are granted by the legend himself, George, unless he is wrapped up at a table making sure thier experience is satisfactory or just telling a joke. This isn’t the type of steakhouse with dim lighting and forced silence throughout. This steakhouse is like visiting a family member. Everyone is treated like they are professional food critics.

First timers for dinner. Place was packed and very busy. Usually need to call ahead and get reservation so we learned, but we were lucky and got a table. Service was a tad slow but place was busy. I had the low cal salad with steamed veggies (3 different kinds) with lettuce, and fruit (3 different kinds) and my boyfriend had pork chop with soup, baked potato and steamed veggies. He asked for medium well but the pork was medium and not cooked to his liking. However the salad was great, homemade ranch dressing and homemade everything we were told. For dessert we had homemade cheesecake which was phenomenal!!! A bit pricey for all, but huge portions and very good.

I ordered the lobster tail with asparagus and carrots and a baked potato. Also added in their add five shrimp special ( lightly breaded fried shrimp). Lobster tail was cooked perfectly and was a decent size. Baked potato was nice and filling with butter and sour cream. Overall a solid entree, had a piece of the lamb chop from my awesome co worker who was nice enough to share and that was excellent too!!!!

Great steaks is a casual atmosphere. I I believe George’s is invite for their steaks, but everything else is just as good. Come hunger because the portions are large and sides are tasty. This is a place we will visit again and again. Love this place! Margaritas are good too!

Busy place but solid food! The idea is very good: casual but with steaks. Steak was very good, salad was sooo good I didn’t get a photo (yummy ranch and homemade crouton). George’s wife makes cheesecakes and I had to get a slice. Very solid!

We were driving through the Downtown Area of New Ulm, Minnesota and was craving a good steak! To our surprise it was that and much more! Sarah was our waitress who did in an amazing job. I even was greeted by the famous George, the owner himself! We had a great conversation about his team and dedicated staff to make sure we were satisfied! The restroom and restaurant was clean. The food was a huge hit! Very good! If you ever have a chance, stop by! I highly recommend it!
