Decided to try the Melrose location (we usually go to the north end and sometimes the south end location). Had reservations on Sunday at 5pm. Came in and the place was packed, even the bar. Highly recommend making reservations if you plan to eat earlier. By 7pm there were few empty tables and no wait.

Service was great! Our server checked on us multiple times and was very polite and pleasant. I had the linguine with chicken and shrimp with garlic cream sauce. The food was cooked appropriately but the garlic cream sauce did not have ANY garlic flavor what so ever. I would think something that is called garlic cream sauce would have somewhat of a garlic flavor. I suggest working on putting some garlic and herbs in the sauce.

Giacomo has a nice ambience since the lights and colors are quite soft and dark at the same time. It is a good place for a date. Food is mostly ok, but I really like my dish, the ravioli filled with sausage and a few other things. The brocheta was good. I want to try it another time to improve my review.

We went on the suggestion of our Airbnb host and were not disappointed! They seated our party of 6 even though we didn’t have a reservation (I would recommend making a reservation as the place quickly became packed). The portions were very large this making the prices very reasonable for what you received.

Waitress was what I like to call normal, down to earth and very friendly. Food was amazing, we got the large calamari for the appetizer which was definitely a large portion and delicious, cooked perfectly. For entree’s we had the chicken marsala (delicious) and the special which was a fussili with lobster and shrimp which my wife raved about. Kids had the chicken cutlets and ravioli from the kids menu which they ate (very picky). Friendly place where you can take kids and casual dress. Decor is nice and perfectly lit for dinner. There was plenty of space at the table in regards to the placement of others tables so seating was comfortable. Would highly recommend you try this place. We are definitely going back.
