Finally tried Fontenot’s today. Excellent decision on my part. Received a friendly greeting from the staff. I had the Softshell Crab BLT and my wife had the Blackened Shrimp Po Boy. Both were loaded with well prepared ingredients and arrived in a timely manner. The orders also came with fries which were crisp and well seasoned. Very satisfied with the food and staff. I even have to compliment them on their choice of napkins and paper carryout bags. Heavy duty. We will be back.

I’ve been dying to try the food and finally was able to yesterday. The prices were very fair. Inside of restaurant is very cute decorated. With how crowded it was I didn’t have to wait more than 2 minutes to order and 3 minutes to get my food. The salad was made FRESH and the traditional canolis are to dye for!!!! Definitely will be back!!! I want to try everything off the menu!!

I’ve only ate here twice, but both times the food was amazing the fried green tomatoes sandwich which was very flavorful, the fried crawfish poboy was also very flavorful. Don’t get me started on the dessert. all i can say is yum. My favorite is the lemon Italian cream cake

I love Fontenot’s! I love the sandwiches, the pastries, the pies, the salads, the gumbo…… my favorite is the chicken salad sandwich!! They always greet you as you walk in and give service with a smile.

I’ve been dieting, and splurged today and I want to marry the chocolate swirl cheesecake I had. I dont know the actual name of it, but it was swoon-worthy. There might have been a back note of coffee. Now I’m addicted.

$11 for a half of a tiny croissant sandwich and basically a can of soup 8oz, get real. if you wanna go broke and leave hungry after they also mess up ur order then sure, but charging that much for such a small sandwich hardly makes it worth waiting in line for a second time…

The food was excellent, staff is very friendly, looks really nice inside. I recommend calling ahead for anything requiring preparation to save on the wait time.

What a little gem of a place. The staff is friendly & the food is amazing! It might be dangerously too close to my house for my own good…

Rude to elderly customers because they ask about being charged for water. If you’re going to charge for something put it on your menu and don’t get an attitude. “It’s just 60 cents” is not the correct response.
