Lunch buffet wasn’t worth for $9.99. I expected some choices of authentic curries, however, there aren’t many curries and tastes are too weak. They should offer more options of curries and tastes for lunch buffet. Their dessert bar only offered Mango ice cream, but it wasn’t good enough. $9.99 buffet should be worth to go back. Hope they make it better!

Best place ever. I only ordered a butter nann bread, and the waiter gave it to us, said it’s on me. Amazing place. Free food for the first time ever being here. And the waiter told us they have an amazing buffet all week from 11 to 2:30 with over 20 different food options. And the nann bread was amazing.

We had the lunch buffet which wasn’t too bad but nothing special. The food tasted more like Indian places off some strip mall, kinda blend, and naan and rice tasted something off shelf somewhere. I’ll make it down here again to try the menu items, after which I might upgrade the rating. The buffet was a bit disappointing, considering there are 3 pretty good Indian restaurants in town now.

The lunch buffet is great. It’s never going to have everything the restaurant serves, but there’s enough of a variety of vegetarian, chicken, lamb, and goat (my new culinary friend thanks to Amaravati ) dishes plus rice and naan and other types of Indian breads that you should be more than satisfied with several different options. They mix things up each time too, so you’ll get a few new choices and some of the popular favorites too. Dessert is mainly fruit ice cream and a few other lighter items, so don’t expect too much on this part. The staff are all great! They’re genuinely friendly to everyone that comes in, and they’ve been thoughtful and more than fair in resolving a few issues that have come up a few times I’ve been in there. Lastly, the dining area is clean and large enough to be welcoming and comfortable for both larger and smaller groups and those dining solo. Matthew 7:12

I am Indian and a vegetarian, so Indian cooking at home is always best but this time I wasn’t feeling well and needed some good nutrition so opted to eat here with online order to bring home. I ordered the food online through their website and went to pick it up and only had about a 5 minute wait when I got there to get my food. The staff was attentive and friendly, seemed like there were no other customers there though, which is rough for a Saturday night!

I have enjoyed the buffet several times and this may be one of the best or the best Indian restaurant in town! I have visited four others and two of them were terrible. The buffet is not greasy or salty like some other restaurants and it has a variety of dishes. I did a take out today and it was delicious south Indian food. The Mysore masala dosa was spot on and the wada sambar was very authentic. The sambar was crazy spicy but I like it that way; not everyone will be comfortable with it. The staff are very polite and well mannered and it’s a nice, cozy, and reasonably priced place to eat at.

Great place for Indian food! Quality and service of the buffet is unparalleled compared to other Indian restaurants in Champaign. The prices of the lunch buffet are competitive, I hope they start considering buffets for dinner as well.

We went for the lunch buffet on a Saturday. The pani puri and vada sambhar were good but the rest of the food was quite underwhelming. I prefer vegetarian dishes and none of them had been seasoned well – they all lacked salt. The manchurian and fried baby corn were either soft or completely burnt. Would have given 2 stars if not for the mango ice cream.

The food is delicious. But the waiter tonight seemed to find everything we did slightly disturbing. We weren’t ready to order within 2 minutes – he seemed thoroughly perplexed. Then, when we ordered and asked for a spicy level of 0, he seemed offended. At the end of the meal when I asked for a dessert that was on the menu, he said they didn’t have it in a way that suggested they never had it, which was confusing.
