As sad as I am to say, I wasn’t too crazy about SS. Maybe it’s just not my cup of tea but in my opinion, they all kinda fell flat on flavors OUTSIDE of the appetizers. The appetizers were FOR SURE the star of the show.

Everything was amazing; drinks, appetizers, Bao buns, and the service! The Bahn mi bao was my favorite, but they were all good. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was my favorite thing we ate. The happy hour prices were fantastic! Our server was totally awesome! We will 100% go back!

The food here was very good. Not very many options but good enough. The ONLY downside that I feel needs to be said is that the AC was hardly keeping up. The insulation in the building is TERRIBLE so eating hot food in a warm building wasn’t ideal. I felt like I had to fan myself to keep myself from overheating. I’m sure in spring and fall it would be perfect!

What a lovely group of people and what a terrific restaurant! Unusual dishes, comfortable dishes, this place is a gem. “Ramen” doesn’t begin to do it justice. The bartender came out to my table to see if the Negroni he made was to my satisfaction. Who does that? (It was perfect – and not slavishly adhering to the recipe.) I hope they weather the tourist and dull crowd because it would be great to have them around for locals like me.

First time trying this spot out. It’s a nice little gem in the city for those who love noodles & BAO! So I had the Chicken Kaarage BAO and OMG the flavor and taste was absolutely amazing! Literally blew my mind! I had to order two more to go!!

Went for dinner at 7pm and was quickly seated at the bar as I requested. I enjoyed chatting with the chefs and servers! The atmosphere was fantastic and the food blew me away! I had the j.f.c chicken app and two bao buns for dinner, I haven’t had a bao bun this good since I visited koreatown in LA 4 years ago! Will be visiting again next time I’m in Mobile!

I didn’t feel very welcomed when I came in. My waitress didn’t do much talking about the menu and it was my first time visiting. There were flies everywhere and they were crawling on opened containers left out on the counters. Besides swatting flies the whole time my food was just ok. I may try again but I was not impressed.

Had the pleasure of visiting this little gem while downtown on a lunch date with the Mrs. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and feel of the inside. The staff was courteous and promptly sat us down. I was pleased to see a short menu of options that cut my decision making time in half!
