My favorite place to eat breakfast/brunch. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and awesome. The guacamole is absolutely incredible! The coffee is amazing. The cinnamon iced tea is my favorite drink to order. The machaca with eggs is one of my favorite dishes to order. The nopales huevos rancheros is extremely good. Everything I have tasted and ordered has been delicious!

What a great find. Food was the most authentic style food we have found in Tucson. Breakfast was so good. Service was outstanding. And everything served literally gets a sprinkle of algeria.

Amazing service and great food! I love the cafe de olla and just everything about this place is so cute! They do have a variety of breakfasts from chilaquiles to pancakes. The banana maple pancakes are SO GOOD! What I love most about this place is the service, the staff are just so nice! It literally what makes me visit this place time and time again! This is one of the very few places in Tucson (or in the US) that is actually 100% authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend!

I travel often and love to find good food, usually some hole in the wall raved about by the locals. I eat ALOT. This place is maybe the best breakfast I’ve ever had!

I’m definitely sad this was the last place we ate prior to our flight home. I wish we would had found it earlier! The food was amazing, the chilaquiles divorciados truly divorced everything I knew about this dish prior to eating it here… DELICIOUS. The Mexican coffee was a great warming experience… and the flan? … to die for.

Amazing breakfast! Food was delish and the cinnamon tea was chefs kiss. Visiting from Houston Texas and this was recommended and it was totally worth the hour wait. Staff was so sweet and the owner even came out to chat:)

I go here for the cafe de olla. I usually stick to the Chile poblano with a corn tamale inside smothered in green sauce with a bed of white rice. I tried the chilaquiles too but they were not the best I’ve had. The wait is usually between 25-45 min long depending on the day. What prompted me to the rating was, I got seated and then asked if I could wait for another table to seat a different group which at the time I had already waited a good 35 min and on my Mother’s birthday. I kindly said no and then felt a weird vibe after. I would definitely go again though cause the coffee is the best I’ve had!

What’s not to love about a place that sprinkles love and happiness on every dish?! The Mexican coffee is special and sweet. My Nopal dish done vegetarian was excellent in a simple foods manner. Not a lot of spice. A few more beans with the vegetarian dish would make for a little more nutritional/taste balance even with the eggs. The breakfast stuffed pepper was incredible according to my partner with the cream sauce really setting it above. Corn tortillas and salsa were of the highest quality.

You are sure to have a buendia if it starts with breakfast at this show stopper of a restaurant! We had to wait a few minutes, but it was worth it and the service was so fast it didn’t even delay our morning. The outside of the building is very unassuming, but walk through the doors and you are instantly immersed in the enchanting atmosphere. From the decor and the music to the energetic and friendly staff, this place passes every vibe check. Then comes the food and drink. The spiced coffee is unique and delicious, and each dish was more incredible than the last. It strikes the perfect balance between tasting decedent without being greasy. The food is clearly hand crafted with care and there is an impressive array of vegan and vegetarian options. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of food, and the portions were perfect. I would give this wonderful little place more than 5 stars if I could!

This place is a definite must try if you’re looking for a great and affordable brunch. Decided to come here after seeing multiple articles about the restaurant being rated in the top 100 on Yelp. Had a bit of a wait, and that was really the only downside of the whole experience as there isn’t much of a waiting area or seating. Once we were set the wait staff was incredibly quick and attentive they provided us drinks and chips and salsa. We had the soup of the day, as well as the chorizo omelette and had a glass of lemonade as well. The soup was delicious, the omelet was cooked to perfection, the beans and potatoes were incredibly good as well. All three of the wait staff were readily available to help us we didn’t have to wait long for anything at all. Definitely will be coming back in the future.
